I loved the sample of Algenist Eye Balm I got in July so much I went out and bought it. Well, I didn't finish it, but after a few weeks, it seemed to stop working as well. The cream also changed color, and like got a little watery.
So I am looking for a new eye cream. I'm 27 and my main concerns are dark circles under the eyes, and I am getting *gulp* one small wrinkle/line under each eye. I like to tell myself it was all the reading in college. lol Can you recommend a good eye cream for me? Thanks!

Hi geminibreeze!
Where are you storing your Algenist eye balm? It can be normally for products to separate after being in one spot too long, and if you keep it in the bathroom any steam from the shower may be affecting the product too. Try taking a wooden toothpick or spatula to mix the product a little bit, that can usually help. ![]()
For your concerns of dark circles and fine lines, I think a great eye treatment for you to try (that isn't too harsh or strong) would be the Ole Henriksen Truth is In the Eyes Peel Concentrate. This lightweight eye treatment actually removes the buildup of dead skin cells and bacteria while lightly exfoliating the delicate eye area, something that cannot be done with regular face exfoliants. Best of all, this peel concentrate is amazing at brightening the eye area and evening out dark circles or discolorations while increasing the cell regeneration to bring healthy skin cells to the surface.
I also recommend the First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Eye Cream which is soft and creamy to hydrate the eye area while brightening, smoothing and nourishing the skin. This eye cream can be applied morning and night and is a great addition to your daily routine.
I hope my suggestions can help! ![]()

Hi thanks for your response
I will definetly look into both products! Especially the First Aid Beauty, I was looking into that line about there antiredness serum.
I stored my Algenist in my bedroom, which is fairly cool. It wasn't in sunlight, as it was on my vanity. That's the only product that went kinda rancid. The color is almost yellow, from what was an original off white. Do you think it's okay to still use?

Hi there!
I think you can definitely use your Algenist cream still. Mix it up a bit and try it out a few days to see if your skin is affected or if the texture/scent change anymore. If you purchased the store within our timeline you are more than welcome to return or exchange it. Visit this page here that has more information for returns and exchanges, or contact your local store for specifics. ![]()

Hello,
I love all of the suggestions from Diana! I also wanted to mention that since most eye creams do not have sunscreen, it is important when outdoors to always wear sunglasses. When you are squinting to see you cause more lines around the eyes and in combination with the sun its a sure way to get wrinkles faster. So don't forget your shades when you leave the house. =)
