AHA vs. Glycolic Acid

I'm wondering what the major differences are between alpha hydroxy acid and glycolic acid. Which is better for my skin, which has early signs of aging, blackheads galore, large pores on my cheeks, and a zit here and there? I recently tried a sample of a lotion with glycolic acid and found it helps with the fine lines and blackheads. I don't know if AHA would do the same.

Megcee is on point with her answer! I also recommend going with glycolic acid.  The glycolic acid will help prevent dead skin cells from clumping together to clog your pores or create a pimple.  If you're looking for a great treatment that has glycolic acid, check out the Murad Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel.  This has worked wonders for me especially for hormonal acne along the jawline.

I hope this helps!

Glycolic acid is a type of AHA, which is a class of acids that also includes salicylic, lactic, and mandelic. For the purposes you require, glycolic is the best choice
