Hi,  Sorry if this is long, but I really need help with starting a whole new skin care routine and curing my acne. Please bear with me!   I am a 19 year old college student who has absolutely no idea what she is doing when it comes to skin care. (Honestly, I will probably be posting a whole different post about makeup too.) My skin was doing well during the summer, but once I came back to start my sophomore year, my skin began to act against me. The place my skin likes to breakout the most seems to be in between my eyebrows and all over my forehead. Recently, I have also been getting two or three zits on my cheeks, around my mouth, and under my chin. Some of these zits have gone away, but they have left scars that honestly look like I still have a zit. I have been trying different products these past few months, but nothing seems to be working.    About my skin: I have combination skin: Oily T-zone, and fairly normal skin on my cheeks.  My main problems that I would like to fix : (from top priority to it would be a nice addition ) -The cluster of acne in between my brows and on my forehead. This acne is mainly just bright red dots; only a few are painful. Reducing redness would be great as well.  -Getting rid of the red scars that have grown on my forehead and between the brows.  -The others places I have been breaking out: chin and cheeks (mild) -Shine/oil control -Pore minimizing   My current skin care routine:  I wash my face both in the morning and at night: neutrogena facial soap bar, then Clinique toner (purple one), then Clinique yellow moisturizer. I exfoliate with St. Ives apricot scrub around 3 times a week. Sometimes I do masks but I have been slacking. I also use neutrogena eye makeup remover and burt's bees grapefruit face wipes.  I am fairly active. My college requires a ton of walking every day, but I do not go to the gym or sweat a bunch. My diet is healthy with lots of fruits and veggies, but honestly it could probably be better. I also 100% make sure to drink 7-8 glasses of water a day.    Really, I'm looking for a new skin care routine that will help solve my skin problems. I need a whole new cleanser, toner, moisturizer, mask, exfoilator, acne treatment, etc. I am open to ANY suggestions and feel free to load on the advice about better ways to take care of my poor face.  Preferably, any products under $40 would be wonderful. If you really want to suggest a product that is high price but you believe it will help me, feel free! I can always save up.    I like to use products that are fairly natural (but they don't necessarily have to be.)   I need serious help because I feel so self-conscious about my face and it's a pure struggle to be in college with this problem. I seriously appreciate any sort of help. Details on how to go about the new routine would be awesome. I literally have no knowledge when it comes to this.    If you need any other information, just ask! Thanks a bunch
I have so many small bumps all over my face. I don't know if it's keratosis pilaris or milia or clogged pores I just really want to get rid of them. I've always suffered from acne, and I've come along way, it's just these **bleep** small bumps!
I have oily, acne prone, skin that is also red due to acne/acne scars. I am sensitve to tea tree products and things with lavender.  Looking for a AM/PM lotion that won't break me out and will help with oilyness.  Any other skin care regime products are appreciated.
I usually only get a monthly hormonal break out on my chin. I bought the Mia a month ago and my skin has been purging ever since. I have been breaking out for 4 weeks straight. How long does this purge usually last? Is that what Im experiancing, or do I need to switch to a sensitive brush head, or stop using the Mia all together? I havent changed anything else in my routine, I'm using the same cleanser, the same moisturizer, same serum, same foundation, same everything. Please help.
I've never had a bad breakout in my life, but my first few weeks at my humid college apartment (no AC! Wah!) really ruined my back/shoulders. I have this nasty trail of pink/purple scars all down my bra strap line. I've never dealt with acne scars. I have NO idea what to use. I'm going home for Columbus Day weekend and want to stop by Sephora to buy something. Thoughts?   Thanks so much!
I have really bad acne, and I just can't seem to get rid of it or cover it up with makeup. What can I use to get rid of it or cover it up?
Anyone with similar issues can you share your regimen? Clinque has not been successful and FAB has not been moisturizing enough, Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I'm 13 years old and I have acne and I can't seem to get rid of it. Any suggestions? I'm willing to do anything (besides any surgery's)! PLEASE HELP ME. I NEED HELP!!
Hi everyone! I will be starting Accutane treatment this fall for acne in my T-zone, and I will need a new daily makeup routine to deal with dry, flaky skin. I'm very, very self conscious without makeup, so going fresh-faced probably won't be an option. I have very sensitive, very pale skin, and I'm worried that my usual makeup will look weird and fake if my skin is flaking. It would be amazing if y'all could help me choose some products for daily use! Thanks! This is what makeup I wear on a daily basis: -primer -foundation -concealer -powder -blush -highlighter -bronzer -nude eyeshadow -eyeliner (pencil) -mascara -lip gloss So if y'all could help me find moisturizing products that won't look conspicuous with dry skin, that would be amazing! Oh, and one last thing: my Sephora+Pantone Color ID is 1R02! Thanks so much!
I'm on acne medication right now (Differin in the evening, clindamycin phosphate topical lotion in the morning, and an oral antibiotic) and my acne has gotten a lot better! However, my skin has now transitioned from just oily to combo/oily/acne-prone and very very sensitive.    In the evening I use the acne line from Mario Badescu skin care and I love love love it. In the morning I use a drugstore cleanser called Biore because I think it helped with my VERY oily skin a little bit before I went on the meds.    But I've noticed that both cleansers (MB and Biore) have stung/burned a bit. My skin doesn't react to it the instant I put it on, but more like after I start rubbing it into my skin a bit (with a very gentle hand, too.)    So I'm looking for a cleanser (1 for both M/E is fine, but 2 seperate ones are okay too,) that helps keep my skin clear without any acne-fighting ingredients because my skin's already getting that from my acne meds. I want a gentle cleanser that keeps my skin clear, and also helps with a lot of the redness, uneven skin tone/dark spots/hyper pigmentation, very large pores and oily skin that I have right now.    On top of that cleanser, are there any serums or moisturizers or something else that I could also use? I've tried a small sample of Murad's Pore and Line Hydrator and I absolutely love it. I haven't seen a difference in my pore size (because I only have a sample,) but the moisturizer is extremely light weight (more than Clinique's Dramatically Different Gel, which I've been using for MONTHS and I also really love. But I think I like Murad's better.) I've also used FAB's Anti-Redness Serum and I loved the lightweight gel feel of it. I think I might go and purchase that and use it instead of Clinique's Redness Solutions (I find it to be too heavy for my oily skin and pores.)    Any recommendations? If so, please let me know the formulation/texture of the product and how it felt and looked on your skin. Thank you!!
Hello darlings! I having been using the Amorepacific tinted moisturizer as a correcting cream and as my SPF. I really love it because the color matches so well with my skin tone but I have to change it because it is causing more breakouts for me and the scent is too strong. I really need something good for covering up my acne scars and acne. My skin is oily but sensitive. An organic item would be best.    Thanks! xx
Can anyone recommend good makeup and skincare products that work well for someone taking accutane? I will be starting treatment in a month and I'd like to be prepared. I know it causes MAJOR skin and lip dryness and flaking of skin. If anyone has taken accutane and found good products I would be grateful for their recommendations. Thank you! L
I use ProActiv, I usually don't do it on a daily basis ( 2 times per day, all 3 steps in the morning & again before bed) i usally do it at night. Well is there any other way of getting my face clear, without having to use ProActiv? Maybe any suggestions for common household materials?

I have several whiteheads that will not go away no matter how many times I pop them and dry them out. I also have dark spots where previous pimples were. I use my clarisonic with the acne head every other day. I would like some spot treatment suggestions as well as a recommendation for all new skin care... cleanser, toner, moisturizer..etc. My skin is very sensitive and oily. I don't think I need a full acne skin care line because my skin isn't really Bad. I just have some spots that need cleared up and need to stay cleared up. Thanks!
I need help finding a new skin regime.  I have combination skin and still get regular breakouts, however I am also aware that I should probably start some sort of anti-aging treatment.  There is so much out there and I have no idea where to start.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  I am looking at a cleanser, moisturizer, eye cream and some sort of treatment.  Thanks in advance!
I just started using Clinique's acne solution kit and I saw results in just one day. Why I haven't discovery their greatness sooner? Talking about money just wasted on other products that failed me. The only thing I am wondering is Do I need to buy the Clearing Gel for blemishes? All the products in the kits says it clears blemishes. I have acne blemishes on my back and I also wonder if I could just used it on my back after using the Body bar? Would love to have clear skin, especially on my back, before the summer. Thanks
I read somewhere that castor oil can help with zits on your face. can anyone vouch for this?
EVERYTHING  I've tried, even Bareminerals, has caused acne on my face. It just keeps getting worse. EVERY TIME I put makeup on (liquid foundation, powder, blush, etc.), I have new breakouts. And yes, I do remove everything at night and cleanse my face. Any help/tips?
Help! I used the Glamglow Supermud a few times in one week, hoping it would completely improve my skin. Quite the opposite- my forehead is completely broken out with acne that I have never gotten before. Has anyone else had this problem? HOW DO I SOLVE IT?!
I have a bit of T-zone acne due to peri-menopausal hormones. I have also noticed significant new wrinkles around my mouth and fine lines around my eyes. Every time I try to use something for the wrinkles it seems to cause a break-out. My acne treatments seem to work fine, but what can use for wrinkles that won't cause break-outs?
Can anyone recommend a good face scrub that helps with acne? Thanks in advance!
What is the best peel to fade mainly acne marks/scars and general discolorations on the skin??   I have combo/oily skin with occational breakouts
Comment plz! and have you tips for acne type it down below!
I have severe combination skin: very dry in most areas, normal almost everywhere else, but with acne. It's also very sensitive. Is there any moisturizer (non-SPF as it irritates my skin) that will properly moisturize without clogging my pores or giving me more acne?
Has anyone had this problem?   I started doing Insanity so I'm basically sweating 40+ mins almost every day. My skin type is combination leaning more on the dry side. I've never had a problem with acne before but I've noticed that I've been getting pimples or little bumps on my forehead. I know its caused by the sweat because if I dont work out for a couple days, then the acne does clear up a bit.   I do try to wash my face immediately after working out and I'm considering switching to an acne cleanser but am afraid that it might be too harsh for my skin.   Any tips or suggestions?
I have suffered from acne (particularly cystic acne) since I was a teenager, and I feel like I have finally resolved most of those issues, however, now I suffer from horrible skin texture. Rarely do I have acne surface my skin as white heads or blackheads, but instead my skin texture is full of extremely small bumps (like tiny pimples dwelling under the skin, mostly on my cheeks and chin), acne scarring, and hyper pigmentation. I know there are products for the scarring, but what do I do about the overall texture of my skin and these pesky little bumps?! In the light  the skin on my cheeks and chin looks anything but smooth. It looks rough and bumpy like fine sandpaper because of all the small bumps. I am nearly convinced that these bumps just turn into more little scars, since I rarely get acne anymore but continue to have red scarring all over my face.   Please help!!
Lately I've been hearing nothing but great reviews on the Clarisonic brushes and I have been thinking about purchasing one but the $149+ price has got me thinking twice about it. I would like to hear some of your opinions on the brushes and how well they do or don't work.   I have veryyyy oily skin, rosacea and my nose is blackhead central. I also have large pores around my nose. I have tried a lot of products to get rid of my blackheads but none seem to work. I don't really have any acne its just blackheads that i get most of the time around and on my nose.   So I am just wondering about how well the brushes work for getting rid blackheads and if the brushes help with making pores look smaller?   Thanks!
