pimples on nose crease
So very serious about this right now... Thankfully I do not break out as often as I used to anymore now that I'm in my mid-20s. However, when it's that time of the month, I ALWAYS get pimples on the nose crease.. (where the nose is "attached" to cheeks). It usually starts by being itchy, and it makes me scratch it with my dirty hands.... and it becomes pimples and then nasty scabs which stay for at least 2 weeks. Oh and the similar happens on my chin too!
How do I prevent this? I figure it's mostly because of hormones etc. and my urge to scratch them with my hands.
I hope you guys can help me out...
Any products I can use to prevent this? Any home remedies?
Hmmm...really not too sure? Maybe try changing your skin care products to something else...that may be the problem. Or if you don't already, make sure you have a set skin care schedule (like wash your face, toner and moisturizer with SPF in the AM; wash your face, toner and moisturizer in the PM; scrub, mask and pore strips once a week). If none of these work maybe you should see a dermatologist, or if it's your hormones go to your gyno for help. Until then, try not to touch your face or use pore-clogging foundations. I wish you the best of luck!
Hi Misshk. I used to get those too. It such an awkward and irritating place! Make sure you are cleansing thoroughly. Ever since I bought the Clarisonic, I have never gotten a pimple in that area and very rarely anywhere else. It really allows you to get every area thoroughly.
I agree, the clarisonic is the best investment that I placed into my skin. It looks a lot healthy and, with the cleansers that I have been using with it, my acne has cleared up and my scars as well.
I agree with Keely, the Clarisonic is a fantastic way to keep your skin clear and remove buildup of bacteria and debris that can be causing breakouts in those "random" spots.
I also recommend you try a good clarifying toner that will keep your skin clear and remove extra build up of oil that can develop in that spot too. I like the ones by Kate Somerville and Lancome.
