<3 for Body Shop's tea tree mask

[ Edited ]

I had a really good experience with this product, so I had to share! I had started using a new product that made me break out all over in deep, cystic acne which I have never experienced before in my life. Nothing I tried worked :smileysad: I had no idea how to get rid of the break out and on a whim, tried the tea tree mask. Amazingly, it was COMPLETELY GONE by the next day after one use! I couldn't believe it. I was so relieved... I now have some dark spots b/c I kept using that product for awhile, not realizing it was the cause. But the bumps are gone and my skin can finally heal...

For the record, I am Asian with combo skin although I very rarely break out now that I'm older. Yay for tea tree and tamanu oil!

Love the TeaTree line from The Body Shop...it's so afforadable and so far it seems to work pretty well on acne or oil prone skin. Great post!

Haven't tried it yet but I HIGHLY recommend The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil. Just put a couple drops on a Q-tip, dab onto pimple, and it shrinks over night! Thanks for the advice on the mask!!

I highly recommend the oil as well!  Wish I'd tried that years ago!  It really helps clear up those pesky blemishes!

You're welcome! Yes, I like the oil too because you can wear it under makeup, no problem :smileyhappy:

That's so great, pocketvenus! I always avoided the tea tree/"natural" cures because I was convinced that they weren't potent enough to deal with the acne I'm constantly battling. I also had great results with Murad's Acne Exfoliating Gel - it actually works to brighten up and add radiance to the whole face while diminishing acne and acne scars! I'll definitely try your suggestion next time. :smileyhappy:

I find tea tree is quite effective - and you can feel your skin tingling a little when you use the mask. The essential oil will create that sensation too but it won't have a strong drying effect the way other products might. I keep it around not just for imperfections but as an overall disinfectant for the skin for that reason. It seems less harsh than rubbing alcohol (although much more expensive!). Thank you for suggesting the gel - I'd really like to minimize the marks left behind...
