I ordered the 3 free samples and entered a promo code when I ordered my tarte brush set. I got the promo sample but didn't receive any of the free samples. Do you not get free samples if you enter the promo code?
Hi! I am currently 23 years old and have suffered from acne my whole life. I have recently been using Proactiv+ but stopped because it wasn't having a great affect on my acne or skin. I started to use Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correcting pads along with Dermalogica Medibac face wash and a toner. My face cleared up somewhat well but now I have these little tiny bumps/breakouts all over my face. I never used to get those, and rather I would get bigger acne bumps. Should I switch to using another skin care product? Does anyone have any ideas? PLEASE HELP!
This is one area I have zero experience in. I can do my makeup ( and i wear alot lol ) without a mirror, and usually under 10 minutes if i have to. And since i like to sleep, i usually have to. I want to get into countouring. I had it done in store once and LOVED the outcome. Anyone have any recs for something that isn't going to take 45 minutes in the morning?
I have very oily skin and always break out. I'm on an oral medication for my acne but I need some type of acne kit to wash my face with and have a daily routine. I have moderate acne, blackheads, and big pores. I was looking at the clinique acne solutions and murad one. Which one would you recommend? or something else?

Body acne sucks. It sucks more than having acne on your face because it seems more irregular. Living with it is a pain, too because you can't do things like go to the beach or wear a low cut top without feeling super self conscious. Fortunately, mine is almost all under control now with the exception of a minor breakout here and there, but it's still annoying. I've learned a lot from my years of acne and I'd like to share what worked for me. I'm also looking for more tips if possible. Hormones are a big factor. Teenagers are more prone to body acne for a reason, and growing up probably was a big factor to my back and chest acne. I'm 21 now and it's not so bad. This isn't the greatest thing to hear but it's the honest truth. An equally big factor is hygiene. Yes, you may think everyone has good hygiene but not always. Here are some great tips that helped me a lot: If you have long hair, wash it more often or wear it up when you sweat more like in the summer. Hair products can build up and get transferred onto your back, causing breakouts. Honestly I only wash my hair every couple of days because I have oily hair, but being more conscious about it being on my back has helped a lot. And dear god please shower daily... this is self-explanatory. While showering, wash your hair away from your back. I used to wash out conditioner (harder to wash out than shampoo) while my hair was down on my back, so conditioner would get all over my skin. Even though you're clean from the shower, the residue is still there and clogs your pores. What I do now is tilt my head sideways so that conditioner doesn't wash past my hairline. Some people like to wash their hair upside down, too, but I find that that makes conditioner leak on my face, which is just as annoying. Change your bedsheets!! My lazy teenage self would never change the bedsheets every week. Your natural oils and dead skin and all of that stuff gets into fabric, and every time you crawl into bed you're essentially rolling around in your own filth. This is especially necessary if you've got oily skin like myself. Change your pillowcase even more often. You could also be allergic or reacting to your laundry detergent. Try out a different formula and see if that improves your skin. This latter part never affected me really, but I hear it does help a lot of people. Use products that combat body acne. I literally survive on the Murad Body Acne Spray (or whatever it's called) which is the most helpful body acne product I've ever used. It has a 360 degree nozzle so you can spray upside down on your back! It's based with salicylic acid to fight breakouts and helped my skin after just 2 days. I avoid using it during the day though because it has a strong scent and a minty feeling that can linger. I use it at night to keep breakouts at bay. When I forget, my chest acne gets worse. I also love the Neutrogena body scrub. The one below and the pink grapefruit one are great (the one depicted is better but not available in Canada ) because there are exfoliating beads, which lead to my next point. Exfoliate your body. Use a loofa or a 2-sided puff in the shower so that you're getting rid of dead skin to let new cells help your skin. When your pores are clogged, bacteria causes breakouts and it's harder to wash your back than it is your face. The best drugstore one I hear is the Neutrogena exfoliating one (not the generic yellow or the pink grapefruit.. I can't remember because it's not available in Canada). Use a heavier body scrub a couple of times a week to really slough away dead skin. You'll see the difference immediately. Wear clothes made from better material, like cotton and silk. This isn't always doable but it's very helpful for your PJs. You sleep for quite a few hours, and no one is really going to see you while you sleep. Find a good set of cotton or silk PJs which are more comfortable anyway. These materials help your skin breathe which will prevent breakouts from being irritated more. Drink plenty of water. This is essential for not just acne but skincare in general. It's the easiest thing to do and has the best effects. Also improve your diet. I'm not saying you should become a vegan, but lower your intake of sugary and unhealthy foods. Have some fruit once in a while, and eat some green leafy stuff. You can make whatever the heck argument you want about "no studies link chocolate or fries to acne" but what you put in your body shows on your body. Trust me, improving your interior health is the best way to combat skin problems and be healthier overall. See a dermatologist. And I don't mean some lowkey dermatologist who doesn't listen to you. Do research in your area and see a good derm who will help you. I didn't do this when I was younger and I regret it so much. I visited one derm and she talked to me for 10 mins about a product line she was selling and she left the room. Everyone's body is different, and a doctor could pinpoint your problems much better than yourself. You could be suffering from a Vitamin deficiency or have another issue you're not aware of. I hope that this thread helps you fight body acne. Feel free to reply with your experiences, questions, and advice. But remember: don't care about what other people think!! I used to be so self conscious of my body acne I would avoid swimming and wearing nice dresses. Now even with break outs I don't give a flying fudge! Make memories and be with loved ones. Years later when you're reflecting on your memories, you'll regret not doing the things you love.
I have clogged pores on my chin and blackheads on my nose. The biore nose strips or face strips never worked on them. I don't get much pimples and my skin isn't dry or oily. I need something that will help get rid the blackheads and clogged pores, I have a cheap olay facial cleaner like the electric brush. It dosn't work. I also tried the youinge charcoal mask, it did nothing.
so I have severe back acne scars and I have prom coming up and I wanted to cover up my scars what do you recommend. My dress is backless and I really want to cover my back acne scars please help. Also, can you recommend any products that might lighten up the pigment of my scars
Whats a good serum to clear dark spots? I don't want anything too strong because I'm only 18 and my skin is super sensitive. I had bad acne around this time last year from using too many products on my skin and not removing my makeup correctly. I started using Dr.dennis gross wipes in June and it helped my acne a lot( it made my skin firm and smooth) but I still have dark spots left behind and a few bumps here and there ( hormonal ) I have oily combo skin. The only products I'm using now is the purity cleanser to remove my makeup and micellar water and the REN moisturizer.
Any performers out there? What are your staple products for stage makeup? Long lasting, color lasting, survives sweat, etc. I used MAC and MUFE foundations and face powders in the past, but I broke out a lot. I now use Bare Minerals for everyday wear, but I'm not sure that's going to be good enough for full face coverage. I HAVE SEVERE CYSTIC ACNE AND IT HURTS I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING AND NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK. DOES ANYONE LIKE ME HAVE ANY IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS THAT COULD HELP OUT ON SOME TIPS OR ANY INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO CONTROL THE ISSUE....PLEASE AND THANK YOU EVERYONE
We're blabbing about everything else these days, I figured I'd check in and see what people are watching when it comes to TV shows and movies! It would be foolish to think that this thread could remain spoiler free, so let's be courteous to one another and be sure to spoiler your spoilers. If you don't know how, it's that super adorable little yellow button on the toolbar, located to the right of the bold/italic/underline/strikeout buttons. DONT FORGET: If you happen to be the most recent post, your first sentence or two of your post will show up EVEN IF ITS IN A SPOILER. So please take care if you're going to go dropping spoiler bombs. Anywho... I just saw the movie PHOENIX last night and it was absolutely spectacular. Like Academy Award spectacular. If you're fortunate enough have showings in your area, I cannot urge you enough to go see it. So whatcha'll watchin' these days? What are you anxiously waiting for to start back up?
I have had these small bumps on my face for the past 2 years or so. I have never had problems with acne. I get a pimple once and a while but nothing horrible. I have tried exfoliating them, moisturizing them and nothing works. Currently I use a Biore pore cleaning scrub, Mario Beduscu Enzyme Gel Cleanser, Clean and Clear Toner and Clinque Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I would say I have combination skin. I don't wear a tone of makeup just usually some concealer and brow pomade. I felt like face makeup wasn't going to help these bumps so lately I haven't been wearing any. Does anyone know what these could be?
so I have skin care like serums and conditioners and I need acne products like clarifying with salyic acid in them what order should all these happen. I know that my cleanser, with acne treatment goes first --use with clarisonic but after that what order should everything go?
Hey guys! I had a question regarding to skin care products. So, recently I’ve been experiencing some serious breakouts. My face has always been in good condition, and I have been using several products to do that (Kiel’s, Korean skincare, Fresh), in addition to that I always thought that good genes are another reason for my ‘problemless’ skin (my mom and sister have the best skin ever!!). However, the breakouts that I now have consist on small acne look-like pimples and are in only one section of the face (the right one and forehead), the left part is perfectly fine. I believe that my T-zone has recently become more oily than usual and that’s the reason behind this breakout. So I’m looking for a good moisturizer (oil-free), cleanser, and mask. I’d like to note that I’m allergic to tea tree oil so what do you guys suggest? Thank youuuu!!

I have dry skin and some mild redness on my cheeks and chin and some mild acne along my jawline that Im pretty positive is hormonal acne. I need a good skincare regimen that will most importantly help with my acne if there is anything I can use for hormonal acne before having to break down and see a dermatologist and also some stuff for the dryness and redness that wont aggravate my acne anymore than it already is.
Is there any difference between the two? I have the Lancome one in N90 and a few minutes after application, it darkens/turns orangey. The reviews on the AP say 102 runs very fair but how fair is it really? MAC N10 fair? Does sit oxidize? TIA
g HI all! i have redness on my forehead, nose, and chin. I would like to use a foundation to cover it, and I've tried for like 3 years. Every time I do a full face of foundation, all the hair on my face shoes up and looks gross and it cakes. Should I wax my face or shave it or something? And I need a reliable foundation that is less than $20. I really want to figure all this out, so ANY advice is really appreciated.
