Hi again guys! Okay so I suffer with bad break outs and being a picker and tempted to pick my spots i've left myself with scaring!! silly of me obviously. But I was wondering what can help fade them away. Home remedies or CHEAP products as I can't afford expensive stuff! I have sensitive skin and combination skin. ALSO on my forehead i seem to have loads and loads of spots but they're not extremely visible and they don't come to the surface where they are white heads...They're literally JUST THERE. how can i get rid of this or help get rid of it?!! I've always dreamed of having lovely skin. my skin used to be great when i was 14 but when i turned 15 ( 18 this year ) BOOM break out into millions of spots! ANY advice is appreciated i could really use it! Thanks a bunch!!!
Hi everyone, I have had dry, slightly combination skin (in that the t-zone is oilier, but not really that much). I've never had to deal with breakouts before. However, of late, I have been noticing that the t-zone pores look larger, and I end up having a few breakouts on my cheek as well. Am I overdoing the moisturizing/hydrating bit in my skincare routine? At night, I cleanse with the Ole Henriksen Pure truth cleanser, then with the Fresh Soy Cleanser. I then use the FAB radiance pads and then use Boscia's Tsubaki Beauty Oil and follow up with a hydrating night cream. Is that too much? Should I replace the Tsubaki beauty oil with another serum?
i like to look at the international Sephora sites to drool over things I can't get (or that I pray N. America will get eventually). Found these two items today. I wonder if the Oil Infusion is a dupe for the YSL?? I hope we get these eventually.
Just wanted to create a forum where everyone can vent and am also curious as to how bad it can get or if I'm the only one that feels angry and embarrassed after leaving my local Sephora for being treated badly. Please feel free to share your stories!
I started using my Mia 2 in January but I switched to Proactiv on the first of March and haven't used my Mia 2 since - I'm afraid the little beads/rough texture of Proactiv's cleanser could harm it! Is it okay to use them together? Thanks!
Hey! so recently I've been getting a lot of little red bumps around my chin area. the red bumps eventually turn into whiteheads. A few will go away and then a few more will suddenly pop up. Also I have acne scars around that area that really annoy me and would like to get rid of Is there a sin care regimen that will help me get rid of both these things? P.S. I have combination skin
I have very oily skin and always break out. I'm on an oral medication for my acne but I need some type of acne kit to wash my face with and have a daily routine. I have moderate acne, blackheads, and big pores. I was looking at the clinique acne solutions and murad one. Which one would you recommend? or something else?
i am sufferring from acne for past 2-4 months. I have tried many beauty creams which promised a faster result, but everything went in vain. Now i want to know which was should i go, Natual cream, lotions or home remedies?
So Ive found myself going down the rabbit hole that is Tom Ford beauty. I picked up the Seductive Rose quad yesterday. I really like the formula, particularly of the celestials. Is there a green eyeshadow in existence? I've been wondering if it is worth tracking down the Emerald Lust quad, but unsure of the formula of the 4 colors and if any celestials are included? Are their any options other than the Sahara Haze quad? Thanks!
Do you see the huge dents in it on the bottom left hand corner? I stacked them on top of each other and that's what happened. I thought I'd give everyone a heads up because I know a lot of us have been waiting on pins and needles for this palette. Not worth it! It's the same thickness as the MAC pro palettes. I'm just going to get another one of those. These are going to get returned on Monday. Total garbage! Edit: I can't believe I made the n00b mistake and put it in the acne board. Sorry!
does anyone have recommendations on skincare products for blackheads? I have them mostly on my cheek and it Is really unbearable, I've tried using lush's mask and although my face feels fresh after, no difference in the blackheads
Last year I was getting sick of my acne so I bought a Clarisonic mia 2 with my christmas money and some Fresh Soy Face cleanser after hearing such great things about it. Needless to say my face purged. Then it didn't stop purging. My acne was out of control! I have always had bumps but like at it's worst 2-3 at a time on my face. With the Clarisonic it was like 10 nasty gooey pimples on my face all the time. I then tried switching to Philosphy's purity and still no help. Then I tried the acne brush head with the acne face wash and still it was no help. By this point I had stopped using it twice a day and only using it once a day and then once every other day and still the acne just kept coming. Finally I packed up the Clarisonic and haven't used it since. I tried using the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel's (just 1/4 of the sheet at night) while washing with the fresh in the morning and while my skin stopped freaking out I still had pimples and the peel was making my skin super sensitive. I finally placed an order for Proactiv+. I had used Proactiv with some success but I hated how dry it made my skin and missing one night and my bumps would come back even worse. It's been 8 months on proactiv+ and even on this new "hydrating" formula my skin is still super dry. In fact the main reason I'm using the proactiv is to gently scrub at the dry patches on my face. I hate using the stuff and really for just a handful of bumps I don't think I need to be going to these extremes. Plus I have been having TONS of problems with the proactiv customer service people. It's just a hassle and expense I don't think I need. I want to use this expensive device I paid for and get off the proactiv+ because I think it's doing more harm then good to my skin. Anyone have any tips for getting off the Proactiv+?
I have a lot of acne on my cheeks. I need a good acne treatment to get rid of the redness and acne. Also what is my foundation the problem for my acne? If so, what is the best foundation to use since I have acne.
Hello Sephora , I'm 17 and I have an acne problem , I've recently purchased ProActiv For the first time a couple weeks ago and it has already stopped working for my skin . I'm darkskin and I have slightly oily skin . I wanted to know what would be your best recommendation for another acne system. I also would like to cover up my acne marks and get into make-up , however no one in my family can help me when it comes to how to start and correctly apply make up , or even what brand would have my skin tone or would be best for my skin. Do you guys have any recommendations on make - up kits for beginners ( dark-skin tone ) . Thanks So Much !
I have sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin. I use epiduo at night for the acne and hydroquinone for hyperpigmentation. My dermatologist recommended that I use a gentle non medicated cleanser twice a day so what cleanser do you recommend?
i have questions about my skin problem. my skin is really sensitive, have a lot of blackheads recently, and sometimes its also breakout. i want to change my daily cleanser from Clinique to Glamglow Supercleanse Daily Cleanser. I did some research and i found out that Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser seems great too. Can please someone tell me which one is better between Glamglow and Boscia for my skin type??? i also have some acne scar on my right cheek. If there is any daily cleanser that could reduce the acne that would be really greattt.
I am on the hunt for a sort of dusty type MLB shade in a glossy stain type formula. My very favorite lip color is the nars audacious in Anna, but I can't find anything similar in tone in other formulations. I had high hopes for the dior fluidstick in kiss me, but I guess my lips are moreigmented than I thought because it just kind of washes them out. I also tried the ysl tint in oil in the mauve shade, but it turns bright pink on me. Any suggestions?
Want to pick this up for the last day of the sale. Does anyone have any experience with this product and can give me advice on rather to get tropical days or tropical nights? I'm thinking Days since I have light skin tone but I don't want it to be too light.. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
I don't understand why so many brands put their products in jars. It drives me crazy! Either I have to dip my finger in the product to get it out, or get a spatula that constantly needs cleaned- and it's messy. Plus, I've heard that while the jar is open, the active ingredients can break down (don't know how much truth there is in that, though.) So, what is the reason for brands using heavy, inconvenient jars instead of a pump? Does anyone prefer a jar over a pump? I think that some of the products with pumps are just as elegant looking as the jars. Personally, I am much more likely to purchase something with a pump, and have passed on a product just because it comes in a jar (but if it is something that people are really raving about, I might buy it just to satisfy my curiosity.)
Hi, I am currently using ELDW in 2C1 and would like to change to the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation. What would be a good color match. I was using ELDW in 2N1 but it is a little yellow for my skin. Thank-You so much for your assistance!
