Skincare
Hi, I do not understand few things. I have tried few products from Sephora and a lot from Korean brands. When they are non-Korean brands they are hurting my face a lot. For example, Kate Somerville, Ole Henriksen's products, they hurt me a lot. However, when I use korean brands such as all Faceshop products, it's skin, Laneige, etc, they are a lot smoother, so I wonder why does it do this to me! And if I should be restricted to only buy from Korean brands.    thanks!

Dry Acne prone skin routine!
Hi!  My skin is dry but oily on my lower forehead. I have a few acne spots and a lot of dry patches below my eyebrows, on the upper half of my chin and on my lower cheeks. This is what my routine is now. I use cetaphil to wash my face with a Clarisonic and then I use the neutrogena hydro boost gel creme. I then use a beauty blender to apply either the Too Faced Born this way Foundation or the IT cosmetics cc creme, and apply a Mac setting powder. when I take my makeup off at night I will sometimes put on Vitamin E creme or Aquaphor on my dry patches to help them go away but it doesn't do much. Any suggestions?

Toner?! Acne prone/sensitive skin
Hi everyone!   I've been thinking of purchasing a toner, but I have no idea what to try.  I was going to buy a Clinique toner, but a sales associate at sephora told me it would be too harsh on my skin. I have acne prone and sensitive skin, so I am always conscious about what I put on my face. I do use a prescription from my dermatologist, not sure if that matters or not! I would also like to avoid something that dries out my skin, I've finally gotten my dryness under control.   I'd appreciate the help! Thanks!

Hey there! I am so lucky to love my job but I work outside. I work in merchandise and live in Florida. After about five minutes outside you are already sweating up a storm! My shifts are about 8 hours long outside with two thirty minute breaks. Does anyone have any recommendations of what I should use to help my skin? HORMONAL ACNE
Hi,   I have been STRUGGLING with this issue.... for so many years already   I find that no skin care products help, as it comes from within the body.   So I am not asking for skin care help.. but rather, SUPPLEMENTS that help adjust the hormone back to a normal level.   I know all that blurb about eating right sleeping right and exercising and decreasing stress blah blah... but I need to know what SUPPLEMENT can help fight that male hormone which causes this ugly situation!! Also I know that female hormone supplement helps but it can cause weight gain so I don't want that..... plz give some suggestion???? thanks!!!!!!!!

I'm looking for good, affordable products to reduce acne
I have a mild acne that I would like to reduce or if it is possible make it disappear, I have normal to dry skin and I used to prevent acne with natural products like Aloe Vera but, since my acne is a little bit more noticeable than it was before I think the best is to try a different product.   PS: I'm allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide, Petrolatum and Mineral Oil.

Getting Rid of Acne Scaring / Blackheads
I suffer from the most inevitable; Acne.    I have a few pimples on my forehead, nose and chin, but most the acne on my face is scaring.  My nose, however, is infested with embedded black heads. I wash my face 3-4 times a day with Acne Dote Face Wash, I use homemade soap to cool my face (after using the acne wash, my face feels like it's burning and redness appears), I then apply coconut oil.    I have been doing this for months now and I've hardly noticed any changes. The only change I've seen is the bumpiness has gone down slightly, but that's about it.    I'm going to be starting high school in a few days, and I truly wish not to be picked on because of it. I've been picked on a lot during activities I participated in.   Do you have any suggestions how to remove the blackheads / lighten or remove acne scaring / clear up the pimples on my forehead, chin and nose?   Thanks. Spoiler (Highlight to read)

Clarisonic Mia made me break out!
Ok, I just used the clarisonic for the first time 3 days ago. I'd been debating getting it for 2 years now for this very reason...but finally took the plunge hoping it would help me with my large pores/blackheads on my chin. I used the sensitive brush, and planned on using it just once a week until my skin got used to it. But now I'm wondering if I made a $150 mistake...I've got huge, cystic like bumps coming up on my chin, and even one under my eye on my cheekbone ( I NEVER break out there). What gives? Should I stop using it or just give it time? What was your experience with clarisonic?

Products for Cystic and Nodular Acne? What is going ON with my skin?
A bit of background:      For the last four years, or so, I've been struggling with large, painful cysts and nodules mostly on my chin, but will migrate to my cheeks or forehead on the rare occasion. They pop up all the time and it's not time-of-the-month exclusive. I've seen a few dermatologists that seem totally against putting me on any sort of regimen such as Accutane and have never been able to treat this problem with topicals like clindamycin and adapalene or with birth control pills.      I currently do not wear ANY face makeup (no foundation, primer, concealer, or even sunscreen). I figured it was wearing makeup that was causing these insane outbreaks, but after not wearing a dollop of makeup other than the rare application of mascara or eyeliner, it has made no difference. I religiously clean my phone, my flute headjoint (I am a professional classical musician) and my pillowcases any moment I can get. So I'm not sure it's environmental.       I notice most acne products are geared towards oily skin, but despite having these acne issues, my skin is literally desert dry, so finding products that work for me has really been a struggle. My skin also does not react well to salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide, either. It has been recommended that perhaps I should try oils on my face... but there is just something about it that does not work for me... the oil literally will just sit on my face and will not absorb in to my skin at all. Also, there is something in Origins products that does not agree with my skin at all. Each time I try one, I always have to return it because it'll give me a million small white heads whenever I use one. I've had mixed results with Clinique in the past, though the alcohol they use in a few of their toners dries my skin out even worse than it already is.       At first, my current regimen worked like a charm and I maybe only had one cystic nodule a month... but my skin has recently gone back to it's old crappy ways. Is there anything I should add or change to my current skincare routine? What I currently use:      Caudelie Micellar Water       Ren ClearCalm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser (with a Clarisonic Mia 2)      Peter Thomas Roth Glycol Acid Toning Complex      Ole Henricksen Invigorating Night Treatment      First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration      Lush's Mask of Magnaminty (once a week)

Battle of the oils!
Hi all!    I've been loving the Luna Sleeping Oil by Sunday Riley for the last month and have definitely noticed some huge improvements in my fine lines and discoloration.   However.   I'm still finding myself breaking out a bit in clusters.  I've heard great things about both the Artemis and U.F.O. oils from Sunday Riley and was wondering if anyone had a preference between the two.   For reference, I'm about to slide into my 30s, have normal-oily skin.  I wash my face daily with a Clairsonic and use the Dr. Dennis Gross Acne Eliminating Pads which have definitely been helping as well.  I'm basically just looking for the last push in my skin care routine.     I'm good applying morning and night and am open to any combo of suggestions.   Thanks babes!

Moisturizer for dry, acne prone skin!
Hi everyone! I have been dealing with bad cystic acne on my left cheek and chin, and have small white heads sometimes on my forehead. I have been to a dermatologist who told me to use a benzoyl peroxide face wash at night with my clarisonic and Noxema deep pore cleanser in the morning. I have been able to get most of my acne under control, the only problem is I have SUPER dry skin. My cheeks and chin peel even when I use a moisturizer twice a day. Right now I am using clean and clear salicylic acid lotion in the morning and then I use first aid beauty intense repair lotion at night. I am still getting acne and my skin is still so dry... Does anyone have a moisturizer they love that will not break out dry skin? I am always super scared to use something with oil in it because everyone says oils cause acne. Any help would be appreciated!
