change your brush head every three months! and make sure you wash both the brush head and handle with warm soapy water. I use lavender soap its a natural antibacterial.

How are you taking care of the brush after you use the Clarisonic? Are you allowing them to dry out so that they do not harbor bacteria in the bristles. Be sure to take time to dry the entire clarisonic out by using paper towels to absorb the water. Be sure to clean the entire system periodically to reduce the risk of bacteria. Also, are you due to buy replacement brushes since they wear out in about 3-4 months with regular usage?

Hi Teenageparasite. It is unusual that you would develop a sensitivity after 3 months of consistent use. Have you started using any other new products? Have you changed the brush head? Which brush head are you using? (normal, sensitive or delicate) Clarisonic recommends changing the brush head every 3 months to avoid bacteria buildup.

i started using the sensitive one and then i started using the normal one . I changed the brush head and went to my other sensitive one and my face is now fine. I think maybe my skin is too sensitive for the normal head.

Your not alone!!
I got my clarisonic for Christmas and it was working wonderful. My skin looked so much better and my breakouts were gone. I just changed the head about a month ago and I am breaking out so bad. My chin, forehead, cheeks, all broken out. I bought the normal head because I noticed with the factory issued head, the bristles were falling out. I don't know if when you buy a new head, our skin is just not used to that one or if maybe we are using it too much ( I use mine 2x a day, 7 days a week).
I would recommend getting the ole henrinskin ( forgive my spelling, I have no idea how to spell, let alone say that name) roll on blemish attack. I use that when I have a breakout and it helps zip those bad boys.
Good Luck!

Don't buy the normal head! It is way harsher than the sensitive one!
