We're blabbing about everything else these days, I figured I'd check in and see what people are watching when it comes to TV shows and movies! It would be foolish to think that this thread could remain spoiler free, so let's be courteous to one another and be sure to spoiler your spoilers. If you don't know how, it's that super adorable little yellow button on the toolbar, located to the right of the bold/italic/underline/strikeout buttons. DONT FORGET: If you happen to be the most recent post, your first sentence or two of your post will show up EVEN IF ITS IN A SPOILER. So please take care if you're going to go dropping spoiler bombs. Anywho... I just saw the movie PHOENIX last night and it was absolutely spectacular. Like Academy Award spectacular. If you're fortunate enough have showings in your area, I cannot urge you enough to go see it. So whatcha'll watchin' these days? What are you anxiously waiting for to start back up?
Hi everyone! I have been dealing with bad cystic acne on my left cheek and chin, and have small white heads sometimes on my forehead. I have been to a dermatologist who told me to use a benzoyl peroxide face wash at night with my clarisonic and Noxema deep pore cleanser in the morning. I have been able to get most of my acne under control, the only problem is I have SUPER dry skin. My cheeks and chin peel even when I use a moisturizer twice a day. Right now I am using clean and clear salicylic acid lotion in the morning and then I use first aid beauty intense repair lotion at night. I am still getting acne and my skin is still so dry... Does anyone have a moisturizer they love that will not break out dry skin? I am always super scared to use something with oil in it because everyone says oils cause acne. Any help would be appreciated!
my skin is usually pretty clear, but once in a while i start to feel one of those deep pimples about to surface. is there anything i can do to prevent it from fully forming? i try everything to make it go away as soon as i feel it coming, but within a day or two it turns into a huge blemish that takes weeks to go away. are there any good products i can apply as soon as i feel it coming to stop it from growing? price isn't an issue as long as it works, I'm desperate lol thank you!!
My face has lots of pimples especially on forehead and it's very oily and same time feeling dry hence my face always look very dull. I have tried so many skin care and they are even making it worse with more pimples on my face. Any advice on what kind of skin care shall I use? Any mask or moisturizer? I am in my 20s. This problem is making me lose my confident. Thank you XOXO
Hello all! My doctor has put me on Tretinoin .1% to help erase the annoying red marks that WILL NOT go away. I wouldn't say I have acne. I have minor breakouts when I have a reaction to something, hormonal breakouts, ya know the normal stuff. My problem was picking. So, I needed something serious to help with scars and those annoying bright red marks that force you to wear makeup. I've also been put on minocycline as well as a topical anti-bacteria cream. My question is this : What products are a must with these prescriptions? I mean my face is SO DRY. Which is expected but I've tried every lotion under the sun I feel like and nothing is really doing justice. I've even tried Josie Maron Aragon Oil! I keep reading Cerve Pm or the lotion in the tub, I've heard Sephora has a Ceramide moisturizer as well? I've also been told ot make sure I incorporate lots of antioxidants. Is there a product that has all of this? What should I be looking for? AHH! HELP PLEASE!
I have used the origins mask a few times and I feel as if it has made me breakouts slightly worse, more noticeable and the area is slightly red. Is this normal and should I continue to use it? I don't normally break out a lot so I'm concerned. The acne is still present.

Hi there! I have major acne problems. I use to have problems with pimples now i don't anymore. Im a dark skin woman and i currently have an issue with dark spots/ scarring. I was wondering if anyone would know any really really good skin care products for my issue? Masks, cleansers, anything would help. thank you in advance!
I've had extremely sensitive skin all my life, if anything comes in contact with my face I break out in that area. As I got older, it's gotten a little better, but lately I've been breaking out due to a cleanroom suit I wear at work over my face and head. Is there something unnoticeable I can wear during the day to protect my face?
Hi! Does anyone have recommendations for the best facial pads for acne-prone skin? I am at my wits' end here. I'm 34, and ever since I had a baby last year, my skin has been a disaster. I'm pretty sure it's primarily driven by hormones, since I am still breastfeeding, but because of the breastfeeding and the fact that we plan to try for another baby pretty soon, I'm limited in what I can get from a dermatologist. In the past Retin-A has been a lifesaver, but that's off the table for now. I have been using the PTR Max Complexion Correction pads for over two months, and they don't seem to be doing much except drying out my skin. I also have the DDF 5% benzoyl peroxide lotion that I use sparingly as a spot treatment. I am also working on overhauling my diet, cutting out dairy and excess sugars to help prevent inflammation. So, my question is this: is there a good facial pad I can use instead of the PTR pads? Or should I stick with the PTR pads even longer? I know it takes a while for results, but I would hope that after 10-11 weeks, SOMETHING would be improved. I've considered the Dennis Gross Alpha Beta peel pads, Philosophy (they used to have something wonderful called the Microdelivery Mini Peel Pads a long time ago, but those appear to be discontinued now), anything else I should look at? Or that you have had success with? I'm moving to a new city next week and really dreading meeting new people and making new friends with my face like this. I feel like I'm starting high school and have the skin to prove it. Thanks in advance for any tips or product recommendations!
Mascara Madness is back at Nordstrom this Saturday the 23rd. Buy 2 get 1 free mascaras! The only "high end" mascara I have used is They're Real by Benefit, and I love it, but I wanna use this sale as an opportunity to try maybe some MAC or Clinique...really anything! I naturally have long lashes, just looking for a mascara that will really darken them and add volume, with no clumping or flaking. What mascaras do you recommend buying from Mascara Madness? What ones are you going to buy!? Thanks beauties
I've been using Clinique acne solutions makeup (foundation) for the past year and I really like it. The only problem is that the closest shade to my skin tone right now has a more cool undertone and it kind of looks weird. Does anyone know which shades have more yellow or neutral undertones and can you name them from lightest to darkest? I'm getting tanner since it's the summer and I would love to find something better suited to my skin tone. THANK YOUU! Side note: If you guys have any long-wear foundation that doesn't break you out, suitable for oily-combination acne-prone skin pleaseeee give me some recommendations. THANKS AGAIN!
Hello beauties! I was wondering what would be great recommendations for pores and I guess I would say tiny scars (like open pores, but it's the scarring left behind from previous breakouts and they're really small. The scars although small are pretty noticeable to me and I hate the idea of using so much primer on my face before applying my makeup for a smooth look. Through trial and error, I've cleared and smoothed my skin a lot. It was horrible, patchy and very oily before. I'm wondering what further step I could take for my nose and the areas next to my nose to heal and close the pores..? I have no clue! Any advise and recommendations help! Thank you!
Hello everyone, I hope you could share some pointers to what just attacked my face! I began using a new foundation, and after about two days of use, woke up to blackheads. I get a spot or two like clockwork, hormonal, sometimes even cysts, but I haven't had actual blackheads invade like this since I was twelve or so! My question is, would the foundation be to blame, or is it more likely the new sleep oil that I've been sampling for around a week? i also have been experiencing itching although there is zero flaking, hives, or redness. Id hate to do a used return if it is another product. Everything else in my routine is 100% the same. Thanks in advance!!
Which all methods are you using for your skin care? Is there any effect on naturopathy for skin care? Does anyone had tried it? While browsing I read that naturopathy treatments are good for treating acne? My sister is suffering from severe acne so she is planning to get treatment from nearby physiotherapy clinic in Toronto, but before that, I need to know whether someone had tried it. Kindly share your experience.
What regime do you recommend for combination skin that is acne prone with hyper pigmentation? Usually on the cheeks but have been present on the forehead. I seem to respond well with benzoyl peroxide vs salicylic acid. I read online (Acne.org regime). I had my face waxed 1.5 yrs ago and skin has never been the same again. Ugly scarring and constant battle of acne almost cystic like. Hyper pigmentation occurs without even picking at them. Even tried prescription combo of Hydrochlorquine 4%, retina 0.05 and hydrocortisone 2.5%.. Helps with the pain of the acne, decrease them some but still better results wit benzoyl peroxide.
