I'm looking for a facial spray I can use after applying makeup to look more glowy, or after nightly cleansing/ skin perk me up. I've used MAC fix plus in the past. I have a Clinique moisture spray right now. I'm oily and slightly acne prone. Suggestions on what I could try? Thanks!
Hi Guys, I hope someone can really help me. I've been dealing with this for months when I first got into actually taking care of my skin. I've been trying to get rid of what I believe is hormonal acne? I have them around my jawlines and sometimes on my cheeks. Some are pimples but some are like clogged pores under the skin? They have white puss if I apply pressure on them. What products/tools do you guys recommend me to get rid of this constant struggle? Thanks in advance.
I love the sephora foundation but i have very sensitive skin that is very acne prone. what foundations can i use that wont make my skin itch and break out but skill cover my acne scars? the amazonian clay foundations make my skin very itchy but i like the coverage.
Hello, I have acne, dark spots and redness on my cheeks. Any great products out there to help? And also I'm looking for a foundation that's not too heavy but has a nice coverage. I don't want it to look caked on or look like I'm wearing a lot of foundation,
In light of her relaunch into popular culture I've given a bit more thought into her influence. II've realized that her legacy is all over this year's palettes. The most obvious is the Sheisedo, which is all about the blue glitter. The YSL glosses have been speaking this for even longer. Surely, those aren't the only ones. Anyway. Bon Vivre. Just tell me I'm not nuts.
it's 5 years now and I still have serious acne and redness problem especially on my cheeks. I started to use this anti-blemish solutions 3-step system (clinique) for like a week ago. Since I've been using it my face always starts to itch pretty much after i have put it on. I wonder if this is a sign that it's helping or is it just something bad for my skin and that I should stop using it? If yes, do you have any advice what I could use instead that's very good for serious acne? Help me!
Hello BT! I went to my dermatologist and she prescribed me with Tretinoin 0.025% for night time, and 5% BP topical gel with clindamycin lotion for the morning. She said that I have combination acne (red bumps, white heads and cysts). Also, she mentioned to use oil free, non comedogenic products and a gentle facial cleanser. I plan on continuing my use with Cetaphil gentle facial cleanser but was wondering if there were products that you could recommend me trying as a new moisturizer since my Olay is not oil free. Also, any other products that you could suggest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I'm 23 and have normal to dry skin that's sensitive and very prone to acne/clogged pores. It doesn't get really flaky on the surface but when my skin gets dry, it breaks out. Anyone have any moisturizer recommendations that are intensive but not too heavy and greasy? Really heavy moisturizers can also break me out. What I've tried recently: Josie Maran argan oil light (broke out), FAB ultra repair face moisturizer (too light, broke out), FAB ultra repair moisturizer (just started it, not sure yet) I'll find something that works eventually.
Not sure if I spelt them right, but I'm looking for a new acne spot treatment that preferably works for blackheads as well. I have sensitive dry combination skin,,, so something like Benzyol peroxide really doesn't work for me. The type of acne that I get is "every not and then painful red ones" on the sides of the cheeks Both PC BHA liquid and La Roche Posay Effaclar duo is very popular.. so I'm trying to decide from either.. but I would also love new suggestions as well
Hi ladies, I have a stubborn whitehead beside my nostril which has been there for months. I have tried popping it many times and it will disappear and then grow a new whitehead within a couple days. Does anyone know what this could be and how I might be able to get rid of it? It's not very big, just annoying!
I just started using my Foreo Mini about a week ago and Im starting to break out! I'm wondering fi this has happened to anyone else? is it maybe a result of the pores unclogging?? Anyone else having the same issue?
My skin is always clear in summer and during Canada's autumn and winter time my skin loves to break out in cystic acne on both my cheeks and a few sometimes on my jaw which leaves scars that are hard to get rid of. I have a few prescribed tropical treatments but i feel like it's not getting the job done. I need some new effective products for both cystic acne and my acne scars.
UGH--so busy today and didn't get a chance to check out the sale section today There was a huge markdown on the Tarte cheek stain set and the MUFE set but it looks like its out of stock already! Still--lots of other goodies at great prices there! Lots off OCC and the some Smashbox LE items
I have all these bumps on my face. I have oily skin and I don't know how to get rid of these bumps. I have had these for about 6 months now and I didn't change anything in my skin care routine. I've used a clarisonic for 5 years now so I don't know what's going on.
Hi, I wanted to know more about serums. I'm 25, and have been reading that it's a good idea to start using them. What exactly are they, and do I really need one? I have oily/combination, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. I currently use cleanser, toner, moisturizer and a retinoid cream. Thank you!
Hey y'all! I've been looking around this message board for the past half hour or so and I figured I would ask my own question, sorry if it's already been answered! I'm 22 years old and up until about a year ago I had perfect skin, I had the occasional break out but that was mostly around my period. Now? My entire chin and both cheeks are full of blemishes, scars, white heads, it's ridiculous! I don't know what to do, I don't know if it's hormonal or just a circumstance of stress and poor diet. I have combination skin (I think) sometimes it looks dry, other times it's like it's oozing oil (sorry!) and it's sensitive. I've tried Proactiv and it didn't work, I bought a Clarisonic brush but it didn't really help much. I don't know what works and what doesn't. If you've been through this and you've found a miracle product (I know everything is not going to work for everybody) would you please share your tips and tricks? I've heard of washing your face with something like coconut oil but I'm on the fence about that, I feel like it would just break me out more. Thank you!
Hi everyone! I have acne, acne scars and annoying white bumps on my face. It's awful and I NEED help. My acne is not bad--It covers with makeup and I love to wear makeup so it isn't a huge problem. Of course I try to decrease it but it doesn't drive me so crazy anymore. I mostly have them on my chin. Forehead is clear and cheeks were clear until I started getting these awful bumps. I don't even remember when it started I just remember putting on my makeup and looking in the mirror and being ilke "WTF." Bumps on face...clogged pores that stand out with foundation. HELP. Am looking to buy a clarisonic now Every time I go to sephora or a skin care person they say I need to EXFOLIATE! I do now... but they are still there. I want smooth skin that will look even more flawless with makeup. So I have finally decided to buy a clarisonic. (Do you guys recommend this for my condition????!) I am thinking perhaps the deep pore or acne clarifying brush will be best but want to hear your experiences!! I don't really have oily skin...it's normal. Couple of blackheads on my nose here and there. So please help!!! Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? Did the clarisonic help???
I've found myself in a skincare dilemma I'm sorry this is long, I tried to include as much information as I felt was relevant. I've been breaking out more than usual for a couple weeks. It isn't awful, but this is uncommon for me (my skin is normally pretty clear, and I very rarely get such large ones). I've had fairly large pimples in different locations. Chin, both cheeks, above and in between my eyebrows. Maybe about 2 at a time? They die down over a few days, then I end up with a new one in a different spot. I've posted a couple times on hear with questions about my skincare routine. I'm currently trying to find a new cleanser and I've been using deluxe samples - so it's hard for me to pin down. This started when I was using Boscia's Black Detox cleanser and became worse after using Josie Maran's oil promo. I've been using the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm as a makeup remover at night for a few weeks - there doesn't seem to be any issue with this. I'm currently using Sunday Riley's Ceramic Slip (full size) for about two weeks - with no improvement. I've also had to change my moisturizer (unfortunately) since I ran out of the one I've been using for a while (Clinique DD Gel) - so I just started using Origins GinZing about a week ago. Nothing else in my skincare routine has changed. I wipe my face with just water in the morning and follow with a facial mist. At night, I use a makeup remover then more of a treatment cleanser followed by Korres Advanced Sleeping Facial. I've been eating better than normal for me, with plenty of water. Basically I'm annoyed and not sure what my next move should be. Should I continue using the same products that I'm using now? I suspect it's the cleanser rather than the moisturizer change. On hand, I have Clarins Extra Comfort, Anthony Logistics Glycolic Cleanser, FAB Cleanser, and Paula's Choice products I can use (the Hydralight and Skin Balancing).
I am looking to get rid of or just help my scarring. I've researched a few products like Murads post acne lightening gel, PTR gentle complexion correction pads, and Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial but I would appreciate other opinions. It can be any type of product that has helped with your own spots. My daily routine consists of: -washing face 2x daily with Cetaphil face wash -for a scrub I use st. Ives oatmeal scrub -murad hydrating toner -tarte maracuja oil -PTR Therapeutic Sulfur Masque Acne Treatment Masque
I have recently had to change my birth control that no longer offers me acne control. I have oily combination and sensitive skin, ALL the don't want's with skin. I was hoping for a foundation/concealer that mattifys but has good coverage. I'm also looking for one the brightens my face. Seems every time I look in the mirror after applying makeup my face is dull. I'm of with a tip to open my eyes up even to make my face look brighter. The second issue I'm looking to resolve is a skin care product that helps prevent acne and balances out my skin complexion and colour. I need a toner and a cleaners. Would prefer ones already prepared in wipes or pads. A good spot treatment would be good too , however I am allergic to salicylic acid.
So recently, in the past 4 months or so I have noticed that every once in a while (maybe once a week) after washing my face at night I get this very red warm flush across my face that starts at the top of my cheeks and goes down to my chin. It looks almost like I have a sunburn, and feels uncomfortable and warm. Last night was probably the worst I have ever got it. So I have decided I need to try a new cleanser, currently I am using neutrogena naturals purifying cleanser. So my question is I have acne prone skin, it's combination, and I usually am always breaking out around my chin and jawline, is there any good sensitive skin cleanser/products for sensitive/acne prone skin ? I prefer a paraben free product under $30... But I am open to all suggestions drugstore or high end. Thank you for your time.
So, I had this "mole" that I thought was a real mole. Until, it started to grow on my face. I went to the Dr. and dermatologist and they claimed it was a cyst. I had already popped it by then.. I know, very bad of me. I thought it was a normal black head. They told me to leave it alone and it would go away. Thinking that it was already gone and scarring, I started to use Kate Somerville's Dscar. Seemed like a good thing to do at the time then it started to sting at the touch. I only used the Dscar on it about 3 times. I stopped applying anything on it, it's about a week since any product has touched it and it's more painful to the touch. So, it originally looked like a mole, I popped it, it turned into a little hole in my face, now the hole looks like it's closing and It looks as if it's forming as a pimple. I never felt anything like it before and it seems to be getting bigger. What should I do? Has anyone had experience with this? I'm planning on seeing my dermatologist in 2 weeks but I thought I would give BT a shot.
