I have combination skin. I still break out in acne around my chin, especially around my period. I also am very very fair, so will have discoloration from acne for months after. So I have oily patches, but then will get dry patches too. I am a HUGE Sunday Riley fan (Good Genes, Luna). I was wondering if anyone with a similar skin type recommended UFO or Tidal Cream as part of their routine (or both!) Thank you!
I'm looking to freshen up my facial routine. I have always had sensitive skin and in my early 20's had a lot of difficulty finding products that wouldn't irritate my skin. I am 29 with combination skin I guess, overall my complexion is decent but not perfect. I get blackheads/my pores are obvious through the t-zone, I get white heads and small pimples a few times a month, my skin tone is somewhat uneven and I am prone to redness. I am also prone to dehydration in the winter. I have been using a Kiehl's regiment for the last three or four years, it works but it's not improving my skin anymore. I recently introduced a Ren mask, Glamglow Supermud mask, and Tarte Marcuja Oil into my routine. I love them. I want to change my cleanser/toner/daily moisturizer. I picked up samples of the Boscia black thermal cleanser, their green toner, and the charcoal moisturizer. I'm not really happy with the results. I don't see improvement, and actually I feel my pores are more obvious and imperfections worse than with the Keihl's products. Can you help me up date my daily routine?
Can anyone suggest a face serum that's good for acne and anti aging? I tried the Clinique serum but it didn't do anything. Hopefully on the cheaper side but I'll try anything. My skin runs on the oily side.
I'm 27, light skin complexion, have fairly sensitive skin and is majority of the time oily. I'm prone to regular acne blemishes, ranging from regular papules and pustules. Moderate Nodules at times, the occasional cysts, I have whiteheads on my chin majority of the time and at times 1 or 2 blackheads along with large pores on my nose. I would consider my acne mild or moderate and often get papules on my neck and jaw line as well, on top of everywhere else on my face. Another concern of mine is my uneven skin tone and texture do to previous acne, leaving me with red spots, as well as acne scars on my cheeks. My face is majority of the time "dull" do all my skin problems. I'm very active, I workout on a daily bases adding to my skin resolution frustrations. I would love to begin adding anti-aging product/products to my skin regimen as well. I'm looking for ANY product/products that would help clear and prevent further breakouts. Along with helping my uneven skin tone/texture, acne scar problems and anti-aging concerns. I would like to wake up with clear, even and bright skin for once! Please help me with product selection, how to, how often and when (AM/PM) to use each product for a new skin regimen. I do own a clarisonic MIA facial brush, so any tips as far as when and how often to use that as well is appreciated. Last but not least, any advice on what type of makeup I should be using for my skin type and any product/products suggestions would be great. I want to look and feel as beautiful as I do on the inside..thank you for your help!
I have very fine thin hair. It hasn't ever grown very well. I need advice on how to grow it out! I'm currently using alterna products and it has helped a little but not enough for me to repurchase the products. I need advice asap!
Hey everyone! I am a sufferer of milia on my cheeks and sometimes chin. I do use my prescribed Tretinoin cream. However... if you ever used it you know it can cause dryness and peeling. i would like to find something that will still help me prevent the milia but not totally dry me out. I'm also looking for a good foundation that isn't going to clog me up. I currently use the Bate Minerals Hydration Gel Foundation. It's great, but I'm wanting a bit more coverage.
Good morning! I just purchased an Hourglass Blush. Typically I use Nars and apply it with my fingers, but the case on the Hourglass is too small. What type of brush do you recommend? Thanks in advance for your advice! Michelle
I have a combination of freckles (which I love and am not looking to lighten), mild rosacea, and uneven tone. I rarely break out but have some small bumps that never turn into anything bigger. If I am on the wrong board can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks
So I have really bad acne due to pores that clog really easily. I am considering buying the Foreo Luna Mini, but I don't want to invest if it is a waste. Can you guys share some stories or opinions on it?
Hello guys! Today I purchased the Clinique Acne Solutions, I bought the cleansing gel, clarifying lotion and the clearing gel. Recently, I have been breaking out like crazy and have a bunch of acne scars. I believe this happened as I stopped using proactive I've tried a bunch of different products like spectro, clean and clear, etc. but none of them have worked. I have a few questions about CLINIQUE ACNE SOLUTIONS -How long would it take to see if its working? -If I stop using it, would I have a crazy breakout? -Is there any other brand or product you would recommend that is better? Hope to hear your thoughts soon!
I have been using obagi gel cleanser for 3 years and it's a good cleanser however I still have breakouts, blackheads and oily skin. I also use retin a so I do not like cleansers with active ingredients. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I need something that will tighten the pores on my nose! I can clear out all of the blackheads I want but its no use if they stay open and can just fill up again! Has anyone found any products that they like?
I am in search for men skin care. My husband have oily face and dry body. He has ache from head to toes so needs to cover that. He gets them all the time and mostly big ones. He doesn't do anything now. Can anyone help?
So, I know these are two very different companies as it relates to their platforms. Love me or hate me, I've never really cared about ingredients in skin care all that much - I care more about results. I mean that in the most non-snarky way possible btw lol so please don't take it harshly! Sooooo that being said, has anyone out there had experience with both brands, and would recommend one or the other? I'm mostly curious about the oils. I was planning on buying the SR Luna and UFO oil , but the Herbivore Lapis looks interesting. What about the Moon Fruit night cream? Does anyone find it performs better than SR Good Genes? Finally, that blue tansy mask looks like it could be a good find! they have a pineapple one as well, but it doesn't look like its available at Sephora yet. Thoughts?!
I had some pretty bad acne the past 3-4 months which prior to that I usually had pretty clear skin. It was just on my jawline and now that it's gone i'm left with scarring. Are there any products like face masks, or whatever that actually will help clear the scarring or am I pretty much screwed unless I get some kind of laser treatment or something?
I have very oily skin and have struggled a lot with my acne. My makeup will never stay on and will usually be gone within 2-3 hours. I'm looking for a foundation that will give me a full coverage for my acne and will also be very long-lasting even through heat and humidity.
My skin is used to be pretty clear and I would only get an occasional pimple or two on my jawline or chin. About the past 3 months or so I have been getting more and more acne and whiteheads along my jawline. I dont know if it is because I started using a new foundation ( loreal Infallible pro matte) or I started using the laura mercier hydrating primer ( I dont use it every day though maybe only 1-2x a week) which those two are the only new product I have been using since the breakouts have occurred or if its just hormonal acne. My routine now just consists of using simple micellar makeup remover wipes to remove my makeup then I will either use my clarisonic with cetaphil face wash or boscia purifying cleansing gel. Then 1-2x a week I use the glam glow youth mud mask. Besides those products which aren't helping much with clearing the acne all they mostly do is make my face feel clean and refreshed what are the best products I could use to help clear it up and also to help clear some of the scarring it has caused?
