Hi, lacqueredup. To be honest, any acne-fighting skincare regimen is probably going to be hard on facial self-tanners. Because they clean your skin so throughly and because of the chemicals in the products, they tend to cause self-tanners to come off faster than normal. A kit that may be more gentle on your facial self-tanner is Boscia’s Clear Complexion Kit which is great for anyone with acne-prone skin that’s sensitive. It’s a complete acne-clearing skincare routine that brings together 4 effective products to give you the benefits of Boscia's preservative-free approach to skincare. The Clear Complexion series improves the clarity, tone and texture of problem skin. It applies Botanical Blast technology, which is a pure and effective complex made from a select blend of the finest botanicals available. The set includes:
- 1.86 oz Clear Complexion Cleanser with Botanical Blast
- 1.86 oz Clear Complexion Tonic with Botanical Blast
- 0.5 oz Clear Complexion Treatment with Botanical Blast
- 0.5 oz Clear Complexion Moisturizer with Botanical Blast
These paraben-free products are ideal for all skin types, including sensitive skin and you can find the kit here: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P27
If the Boscia Clear Complexion set causes your self-tanner to come off as quickly as your other products, you can always return it via Sephora's easy, postage-paid return policy. However, if you need an acne-fighting skincare regimen then you may need to use bronzers and makeup to achieve a tan on your face instead of a self-tanner. But let's keep our fingers crossed that the Boscia kit will work! ![]()
Hope this helps!
Have a great day!
