How can I cover acne without clogging pores even more?

Is there a foundation with good coverage to conceal my acne that won't make me break out even more? TIA :womantongue:

I would NOT recommend anything with bismuth oxychloride (bare minerals original.)  Try there matte formula if you want a powder.

I also have a problem with acne and clogged pores. Since switching from liquid and cream foundations to Bare Minerals, I've noticed a huge reduction in the amount/severity of my breakouts. There are other brands that make mineral makeup, but some of them have just as many added chemicals and junk as liquid and cream foundations do. In my opinion, the BE foundation covers acne even better than liquid concealers if you pat it on with their concealer brush. The BE starter kits are really a great way to get started. Good luck : )

I use bare minerals. And I am DILIGENT at washing my face in the evening.

Try the Clinique acne solutions foundation, or concealer too, the foundations alone has such good coverage and has salicylic acid in it to treat the acne while your wearing it! It is the only foundation and concealer that I use :smileyhappy:

Try Cover FX Cream Foundation!! You can achieve full coverage to conceal acne, and it's oil-free, fragrance-free & non-comedogenic so it won't clog your pores. I love that it has SPF 30 so I don't have to apply an additional layer of sunscreen and the finish is very natural. My skin is not perfect, but thanks to this foundation I get compliments all the time!

I totally agree about Cover FX cream foundation. They have a ton of colors and the coverage is fabulous. I'm about to try Make Up For Ever's HD foundation because I've heard that it also covers well. But for now, Cover FX is the only makeup that matches my skin tone exactly and doesn't break me out. I apply mine with Sephora's mineral powder brush - probably not what it's made for but I really love the look.

The Cover FX powder strangely seems to break me out though - not sure why - so I set mine with MUFE's Duo Mat Powder Foundation (just a light dusting in certain areas that need it). This powder has parabens and potential irritants so who knows but so far it's the only powder that works for me.
