Spring 2015 Collections
So I've seen a couple of threads for specific Spring 2015 launches (MUFE 50 Shades, Nars, etc). I thought it would be cool to post any and all new collection releases/launches in the same thread. I was searching around trying to find the newest stuff and scout out my next purchases. Here's what I've found so far:   Dior Spring 2015 - Kingdom of Colors (Images from A Bit Of Blusher)     Guerlain Spring 2015 (Images from Rouge Deluxe) Isn't this collection so cute?!?!

Marvellous March Hauls: Do What You Gotta Do!
I know we still have a few more hours until the 1st, but I thought I'd start us off, anyway!   I got the email that the Shiseido Veiled Rouge lipstick I tried to buy earlier this week (but got a shadow shipped to me instead, lol) was back in stock, so I decided to try buying it again.   Come on guys!  Let's hope the second time for Skyglow is the charm   What've you hauled or will be hauling this month?

Who is as dumb as me? Feel free to add anything dumb/funny you did lately!
Today as I am looking through the orders that are on the way to me I noticed that I ordered 2 more of the same product. One I have already (GA Brow Maestro-ordered same color, wanted to order a different one). And I placed two different orders for Glamglow Thirstycleanse! What a dumbo! Now both those orders will have to be returned...ugh! I just can't believe I did this considering I was checking and rechecking my orders. And yes...I ordered them all from Sephora! Go ahead laugh and tell me what I already know,...I am indeed an addict and a goofy one at that. I'm blaming it on the weather since I think it's causing more confusion than usual! Ok that and a serious lack of sleep...zzzzzzz (I wish!)

Long-Lasting Foundation for Dry Skin?
I am looking for a foundation that is   Medium-Full Coverage Long-lasting Good for dry, dehydrated skin And preferably transfer-resistant Any recommendations? I have been using NARS Sheer Glow, which I LOVE the coverage and finish of; however, it doesn't last long enough on me and tends to transfer. I would love to know any tips as well that might fix these issues. My foundation routine is pretty minimal (moisturizer, foundation, concealer), so it may be that I need to add more steps, such as primer, powder, or setting spray. I'm considering the Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray. Please let me know if this has worked to make your make up last longer and doesn't feel tight on the skin. (I've used All-Nighter before and it was so tight feeling.)   Thanks!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick
Hey Ladies!   I am looking into Urban Decay's Revolution Lipstick but cannot decide on a shade! I've looked at multiple swatches on different blogs and (Sephora) discussion boards, but cannot settle on any one shade.   I have pretty light, neutral skin tone (I recently was color matched to 3Y03 or Urban Decay's Foundation in 2.0).   Recently, I have been attracted to bright pinks and corals, but am looking to venture out. I haven't gotten the nerve to try reds permanently just yet as I have not found a sample of a red that looks good on me. So I'm thinking somewhere in the mauve/plum range, but not too dark...   Does anyone have any suggestions or favorites that they swear by? And possibly suggest a matching lip liner by Urban Decay as well.   Thank you ladies!

A Review: Belif True Cream Aqua and Moisturizing Bomb comparison etc
With the harsh wind and negative degree weather, I've been fighting to make sure my face doesn't shrivel up and flake off. Sephora, or rather, BeautyTalk seems to have read my mind and sent me two moisturizers from the new line Belif that Sephora now carries for me to dissect, play with and use. Spoiler (Highlight to read) While I'm familiar with most popular Korean skincare brands like Amore Pacific, Innisfree, Etude House, Nature Republic...... I have never heard of Belif until now. A google/youtube/random Korean forum search turned up mostly press-release/promotional articles with only a handful of reviews. Some poking at their brand website/social media told me their online presence started in 2010 and they started becoming popular/getting award ~2012, so it's a relatively new brand (eventho the herbal practice and fancy blah blah are based on 150yr old practice from Europe). But anyways, onto the product review!   The moisturizers come in a thick and sturdy plastic jar. The packaging have a clean and natural feel to it. I think it's cute how the cap looks like dandy black hats, but more relevantly, THANKYOU for printing the expiration date on the bottom of the jar instead of me having to go hunt for it. NOTE: Dates for most Asian products are printed as day/month/year, or in this case May 20th, 2017.   Belif The True Cream - Moisturizing Bomb Description in image above, ingredients list in image below. Upon opening up the inner lid, a pretty strong spicy scent hit my nose......ginger with a hint of radish? However, the scent lessens as you apply it onto your face and mostly goes away after 10-20 minutes. It is a white medium/heavy weight cream that feels pretty luxe on the skin. It spreads easily, but takes a while to sink in and for the greasy feeling to disappear. I applied what I thought was a normal amount but it took an hour to sink in completely, so I guess you don't need a lot. Comparison : The thickness reminds me of Ole Henriksen Truth creme but this feels creamier, slightly greasy, while OH feels a bit more silicone-y. This is lighter than Murad Hydrodynamic moisturizer and L'occitane Shea. Skin type : great for dry skin, also appropriate for combination/normal skin but apply sparingly. It didn't irritate even near lashline or on sensitive/just healed skin (due to scar/pimple) so I'd say it should be safe for sensitive skin, unless you are sensitive to alcohol, dimethicone or plant extracts.   Belif The True Cream - Aqua Bomb Description in back of packaging image above, ingredients list in image below. Upon opening the inner lid, there is a strong fresh, juicy scent with a hint of spicy. The scent is milder, and fresher/cleaner, than Moisturizing Bomb and goes away quite easily. It is a medium weight gel cream that spreads easily and sinks in well. There's no sensation but that of water and the skin drinking it in. It feels weightless on the skin with no residue after a few minutes but the skin stay hydrated. Comparison : It is a bit thicker than other gel moisturizers I like to use in the summer (Bliss Oxygen+C, Clinique yellow gel, Clinique Moisture surge gel cream), takes a bit longer to sink in, and feels a bit more hydrating. It reminds me of Philosophy Take a Deep Breathe, but I think this feels nicer on the skin (and Philosophy TDB's got micro shimmer in it, what?) Skin Type: best for combination/normal skin. It probably also works for dry skin in the summer or oily skin in the winter. If your skin is truly very oily, I recommend try something lighter than this.   Overall impression . I like them! You know how sometimes the moisturizer feels oil-based, water/gel-based or silicone-based? both moisturizers do contain silicone but I can't feel them. Sometimes I also have the problem where the moisturizer end up flaking/peeling off or rolling into little balls on my skin, but even when I applied these two moisturizers generously, there is no flaking. The only thing I can nitpick about these two moisturizers is that they take awhile to sink in, but they leave the skin soft and hydrated. I like them and would recommend them to everyone for winter, but I would not recommend them for summer unless you've got dry skin, or at least remember to apply sparingly.

Q. Best BB Creams?
Trying to switch from using ELDW to a BB cream. I feel that ELDW is way too heavy for everyday use and looks too noticeable and dry for winter. Here are my must-haves in a BB cream:   - Long-lasting (most important-- after coming from ELDW which lasts all day, I cannot downgrade to something that will last for an hour or two and/or requires touching up!) -Light-medium coverage (also important. i will use concealer for any extra blemishes that need covering, but I don't want to feel like I'm applying a clear liquid to my face) -Does not oxidize -Dewy finish  -Natural looking!!! especially in day light!   xx thanks for the help in advance

HAPPY TO BE BACKK!!! hello BT'ers Hope KA EXPERTS can help... I'm lost!!
Anyways heyyyy everyoneeee I'M BACK. I HAVE NOT BEEN ON HERE IN SOOOOOO LONG. I have a small dilemma and I know that you girl will be able to help me out hopefully!!!! SO- I contemplated for about two weeks on which KA celestial highlighter to buy "candlelight vs. starlight". Now after all the pics I had seen on various blogs, websites, and every where else we look when were trying to find out info about a produt...I went on the and ordered the less popular, more new to the crew starlight. now let me just tell you the picture on Sephora and actually almost every other site that carries ka,,let me tell you it almost seems as thought they are taking a picture of the Nars highlighter "miss liberty" which is actually a very light pink in reality and on the website!... instead of KA's starlight which looks like the same kind of color online but in reality its like a deep pink color....  I was very shocked on how much darker and how not light it is at all! I just got it from ups today... and I had used a Guerlain aerosol/ ]bronzer spray on my face I figured I'd wait until tomorrow to try it out on my regular foundation. I live in an area where I'll have to go to Boston to see both highlighters up close and personal and its not that far at all but is it worth it to get in the car? lol  That's why this is BOGGELING my minddd and hopeee some of you guys on here have used/ own/ or at least tested out both starlight and candlelight. All and Any Feedback will be GREATLYYY appreciated!!!! thanks BT'S!!!!

Storing lipsticks: the eternal question
Alright, wise people of Beauty Talk. I have a lipstick holder and keep all my MAC lipsticks in it. I spend so much time on the morning pulling them out and turning them to read the label and find the one I want. I was complaining to my sister about this morning ritual and I said I was probably just going to store them upside down so the labels are easy to read. She gasped as though I had suggested that I give them all to my daughter to use as crayons and just buy a tube of Chapstick as replacement. She said all of the bullets would break off due to gravity and they'd be ruined!   Is she right? Do you store your precious tubes of coloured happiness upside down or right side up?

How often do you wear lipstick, and how long does it take you to finish a tube of lipstick?
Hey Everyone! I'm curious as to:   - How often everyone else wears lipstick? - Whether it's usually nudes (because of work, or preference?), or any color as you please - And generally how long does it take you to get through a full tube of lipstick?   Despite my [admittedly overwhelming] collection of lipstick, I find that I don't wear lipstick as often as I like (I should probably start the 30-day Lipstick Challenge, shouldn't I? ), mostly because I get a little nervous that bright lipsticks (my weakness) aren't well suited for my work environment. Outside of work, I love slapping on a deep red or berry shade, but alas there aren't as many weekends as I'd like there to be.   I can't think of a single lipstick I've finished before I've felt compelled to toss out (not even my minis! for shame!), though I'm somewhat close to finishing up a tube of MAC's Russian Red. That being said, I've made a significant dent in my hoarder's stash of lip balms (hello, unreasonably dry and frigid winter).   How about you guys??

Red around the lower lashes, help?
So I've noticed when I bother to properly conceal my under-eye bags that the skin right at the root of my lower lashes looks pink and slightly irritated.  It's definitely not a reaction, they're always like that, it's just more obvious without the purple below.  I've tried using a dude eyeliner on my waterline and it helps a little but I don't know how to get at the skin right at the root of my lashes without it getting all over the lashes.  Any advice for how to cover this up?

Recent Acne Troubles
I have not had acne my entire life until I turned 20, now it is driving me crazy. It is not severe but I would like to get it under control. After going the dermatologist and not being able to afford $800 in prescription creams that were generic but besides the point. I am looking for something to eliminate scaring and redness. I have been looking at the Dr. Dennis Gross One Step Acne Eliminating Pads and wonder if that is a good fit for me? If not what would be best?  And or what is a good face wash for me to be using?    As of right now, I am using a Neutrogena 3-1 Acne Control face wash, along with just a basic moisturizer.    Also in part of this problem, I have been wearing more coverup which is probably not helping the problem. I use to use Maybelline Mineral Powder cover up which I loved but it was discontinued , ever since then I have not found a cover up that works well with my face, either too heavy or not enough coverage. I am wondering which cover up would be good to cover some of these acne marks along with not being too heavy. I am leaning towards Bare Minerals, but am sure what I need or if it is good for me?    Thanks in advance!
