Face Q&A
Okay my face overall is pretty light/pale in color, but uh.. years of sun damage on my lower face has made my mouth area slightly darker. But my neck is pale so it looks super weird if I try to match the rest of my face to the color of my chin/mouth area. But if I wear a lighter foundation to match my neck and other areas on my face, the chin/mouth area looks really ashy and grey.    I thought maybe color correcting can help me, to wear them underneath my foundation. But I have no idea which color works for brightening a big area of dark patches? The color isn't blue/purple/yellow anything, although I guess it falls under the category of "sallowness", but I've tried lavender colors before and it just makes the area look even more ashy and unattractive. Any ideas? Would orange work? I thought orange was for the green/blue like, for undereyes and such.
Face Q&A
My go-to loose powder (Cover FX Illuminating Setting powder) isn't available in the US anymore.    What's a good substitute that is good for all-over daytime coverage with just a touch of glow—not shiny or glittery.    I'm fair-skinned and would need translucent, if possible, or very light shade.
Eyes Q&A
Hi I want to have the impression of long natural thick eyelashes. But not wear fake eyelashes. What macara is the best for what I'm looking for?

Hey, My skin is very pale, my chin, creases of my nose and forehead are often dry but my cheeks, T-zone become oily during the day.I am having troubles finding a foundation that will actually work for my skin even after going into a few of the sephora stores. I have been using CLINIQUE Stay-Matte Oil-Free Makeup and I love it. It works great. The downside is that I am too pale for Clinique's lightest shade which is linen. I am shade 1Y01. I have tried make up forever ultra HD and found it looked cakey on me and clung to all my dry skin (around the edges of my nose, forehead and chin). Then I tried Kat Von D's Lock it and that too looked like I just crushed chalk up, mixed with water and painted my face (was even a little whiter then my face!). Ive tried BB creams but they dont do much for me other then make my T-zone worse.I am currently using Urban Decays All nighter foundation but I am finding that it applies nice but after setting for 3 min you can see its clinging to my dry skin again. Acne isnt something I really have to worry about as i only get one or two pimples every now and then  but I do try to cover my veins because I am really pale and you can see them (yes i get sunlight I swear I just dont get any color or burn)  I just dont know what to use now.. Losing hope in foundations lol!  Thanks.

Face Q&A
I am looking for recommendations for an Asian bridal make-up and hair artist in the San Gabriel Valley, CA area (especially in Pasadena, Alhambra, San Gabriel) to do fresh, natural (not over-done) Asian makeup for my wedding day.   I am hoping to spend $300 or so (including wedding hair/make-up and trial hair/make-up) to find an artist who is professional and well-reviewed. I also need an artist who has a studio or salon at which to meet since I don't want to have my hair/make-up done at my house or at the venue.    Please message me if you've worked with an artist, and can highly recommend them. I'd prefer artists who work with a lot of Asian brides (some make-up artists struggle with Asian eye makeup), and who can do both hair and make-up.    I am attaching pictures of the type of natural Asian make-up look that I'm going for.    I

Okay... So I have extremely dry skin and use many products to prep my skin before applying foundation with my beauty blender.. I use peter Thomas roth's cloud serum, Dr. Jart ceramidin gel-cream after and sometimes even Neutrogena hydro boost water gel under the Dr. Jarts when im super dry.. then I go in with baby skin primer from the drug store (open to finding a new primer primarily for dry skin or filling fine lines.) I apply my foundation and everything is golden until I apply my concealer, I use Urban Decay naked skin concealer (I've used Nars creamy concealer and Maybelline instant age rewind also) . My problem is.. If I don't set it, it definitely creases within seconds... But if I do set it, it instantly looks dry and starts to crease within the next couple hours.. And im talking bad.. makes me look like im 5 years older than I am. So what am I doing wrong? Is it the concealer im using? The setting powder? I feel like ive tried everything. Oh and I use Maybelline fit me set + smooth pressed powder to set my make up. Looks great on my face but not so much under my eyes. I've also used Laura Mercier secret brightening powder to set with and I wont even try to describe how awfuly that worked for me lol.
All Other Skincare Concerns
For as long as I can remember, I've had these tiny bumps that gather around the inner corner of my eye and along my dark circles. I really, really hate them! They kind of look like chicken skin, but they don't really feel bumpy or anything. I've seen pictures of milia, and that is definitely not what I have. These little bumps don't ever go away and they never move. Some people say that they've started to notice this chicken skin under their eyes as they aged, but I'm a Sophomore and I've had this problem my whole life! I've done a little research, and so far all of the fixes have been really complicated and confusing. Please give me a solution! I like to take good care of my skin, but I'd much rather just buy a lotion or something than see a dermatologist. Thanks for all your help!
Combo / Normal Skin
I am looking for a new night time moisturizer. I have noticed that my skin has become duller, and my skin texture has become more uneven. So I am looking for something to help brighten and  help with skin texture.   Hoping for some insight on night time treatments, maybe even some kind of serum.... just not sure what to look for.

Eyes Q&A
I really want to get into working with eyeshadows, but I have monolids and can't find that many tutorials and tips. I really like colours and would love to incorporate colours into everyday looks. I was wondering what are some suggestions for applying colourful eyeshadow to monolids without creating a fake crease?

Whenever I purchase something from a Sephora store, they always say to do the survey because you could win a gift card, and I've always wondered if anyone's actually won. So has anyone actually won?
Eyes Q&A
Does anyone know of a great under eye/dark circle concealer? I hardly wear any makeup so it would have to be subtle, but effective. I am at a loss, any suggestions??

Hey guys, which products should I try next for pore minimizing? I'm looking more for masks/treatments than face wash. I'm a 21 year old college student and I wear glasses 24/7. I have combination skin but my pores in my t-zone and cheeks are huge from my glasses. I've tried pore strips, GlamGlow SuperMud, Salicylic Acid wipes, Kate Somerville products, etc. yet all they do is dry out my skin, nothing has noticeably reduced my pores. My skin is very fair and sensitive, can you recommend some products? Thanks so much! Edit:  I use Philosophy Purity face wash morning and night, and Origins Original Skin Serum at least twice a day, or more if my skin is dry. Also use Kate Somerville Gentle ExfoliKate once a week to smooth out my skin.
Face Q&A
I have been using the taste shape tape concealer and it keeps oxidizing on me, I also use the makeup forever matte primer as well. Is there
Lips Q&A
Ok, so there's acne treatment and various things to treat pimple on the face. If it's drying or harsh, no big deal. But I've got a tiny red bump on the lip that hurts every time I touch it and it's a problem when I eat. Moreover, I JUST manage to recover my lips from it's previous dry/itchy/flaky condition, so.......   Have you ever gotten pimples on your lips? how do you deal with that?   Thanks.

I want a dark, seductive scent. What perfume would have the scents I love and smell super sexy?

Anybody know if the Daisy & Daisy Eau So Fresh mini gift set contains spray bottles? I have received minis before that are not sprays but splashes, and I haven't used them for that reason.   http://www.sephora.com/daisy-daisy-eau-so-fresh-mi ni-gift-set-P416005?skuId=1904333&icid2=products%2 ...   I want Daisy, but I don't use perfume enough to warrant a 1 oz bottle, and it gets funky after two years or so. And I prefer sprays to rollerballs!    Thanks

I know that the Nars Sheer Glow is technically water based, but being as the second ingredient is a silicone I'm wondering if I'd be able to avoid having my makeup  pill/bead/generally apply weirdly  with the Hourglass primer despite the fact that it's mineral/silicone based. Has anyone tried this combo before? I'm also looking into the Smashbox Photo Finish Light primer but I'm very scared about switching up so much of my base makeup with my skin's pretty unrelenting sensitivity (other than being sensitive my skin is combo-oily but I'm not afraid of needing to blot or powder). Thanks!

Hello All,   I'm having trouble with my foundation lately. I've been using the Tarte Amazonian clay foundation and I've noticed my skin has become very dry. To the point were my whole face was flaky. It could be the weather that's doing it to my skin. But I was wondering if anyone had other suggestions for foundation. I'm having dry skin issues but I also get extremely oily throughout the day to the point where my makeup will slide off. Before anyone asks I do use primers and setting sprays nothing works to fight to oil.  Thank you all in advance

I just started using the Clarisonic Mia and am interested in seeing what everyone does with theirs.   1. Which Clarisionc do you have? 2. How often do you use it? 3. What products work best for you? Cleanser? Exfoliator?  4. What is your skin type?   I hope something like this hasn't already been posted recently.
