Hi! I'm fourteen years old and am on the market for a new foundation. My skin is pretty normal, but I do get oily in the T zone. I have a lot of redness in my cheeks and some acne. I am currently using the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation and I'm really impressed. It does a fantastic job covering up my redness. The only thing is, it doesn't exactly cover up my acne well. It covers the redness, but you can still see the bumps on my skin. I want something similar to Maybelline Fit Me, but will give me higher coverage and cover all my acne. I want a flawless finish that still looks natural. Also, I don't have a lot of money to spend so something on the lower end of prices would be great. Drugstore or high end is fine. Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone! Here's some quick background about me and what I'm looking for: I have very pale skin and problems with redness and oiliness. My favorite foundation used to MUFE Matte Velvet in #15 (Alabaster), which matches my skin wonderfully. BUT, more recently, my skin has become a lot drier and I'm having to stay away from matte foundations. I like the coverage and feel of MUFE HD Invisible, but the lightest shade doesn't match Matte Velvet 15. Other foundations I've tried / am trying: -Shiseido The Makeup Dual Balancing in I20: Like the feel, wrong shade/tone -Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in 00: A little bit thinner than MUFE HD, but a better shade for me So, I'm wondering what super pale foundations out there people with difficult combination skin/assorted problems have tried and liked? I'm considering giving Givenchy Photo Perfect foundation or Urban Decay's Naked a try based on what I've read in this forum, but I'm on the fence. Of these two and any others you can think of, what would be most comparable to the coverage offered by MUFE HD Invisible Cover? Secondly, I do have some MAC Face and Body in white that I mix with my existing too-dark foundations, but I'm finding it's a little too watery and causes my foundation not to blend well on my skin. Are there any similar pure white foundations that aren't as watery that people like?
I like testing the color of the products before I buy them, the swatches on the website are great but I can never tell from them or the description if I'm going to actually like the color and if it will look good on me. I really want to try some of Nudestix magnetic eye color pencils, but the two closest stores that stock them are 2 hours away and crossing the border or 3 hours away. There are at least 28 Sephoras between those two locations that are easier to get to and closer to me, why can they distribute product availability more evenly? I get that the Canadian sephoras never have as much variety but there is 20 sephoras that could have been stocked with it closer to the Detroit area, instead of all the way in Lansing.
Or at least an inexpensive version of Buxom's full-bodied Lip Stick (not gloss/polish) in the shade Dolly, the one that came out with that cute new limited edition tube. http://www.sephora.com/love-dolly-limited-edition- full-bodied-lipstick-P386808
Just called around to all the SiJCP and Sephora stores to try to find the MUFE Pro Finish powder for my sister. Everyone is out of stock, including online, of 110 Pink Porcelain. Is there a particular reason why? I know not all of us are that fair skinned.
Is anyone familiar with Barry M Cosmetics? Trying to buy the genie lip paint (green lipstick that turns the appropriate pink color for your lips). When I go to shipping, I can't find the US in the countries. Does anyone know where else I can buy it?
Some time ago I posted about checking blush prices based on the actual price per ounce. http://community.sephora.com/t5/Products/Blush-Pri ces-per-Ounce-can-be-Surprising/m-p/1459734#M13215 More recently, I was intrigued by the Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight. It costs $44, which sounded about the same as the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. Then I noticed that many reviews noted the tiny size of the product. So I did some comparisons: -Hourglass Ambient is 0.35 oz for $45, or $129 per oz. -Guerlain Meteorites Compact is 0.35 for $62, or $177 per oz. -Kevyn Aucoin Celestial is 0.11 oz for $44, or $400 per oz! What is this powder made of, jewel dust? It's off my list.
I received a sample of Luminous Silk and just love it. My color id in this foundation is 5. However, I'm intrigued by Maestro Fusion (id is 5.5) and Designer Lift also, but neither of these are available in stores within 100 miles. My questions are these: 1. how do I compare these 3? how do I know which one I should choose? 2. what color should I get in Designer Lift should I choose to purchase this one?
I bought a little metal device when I was on holiday in Prague from one of your stores and it is supposed to help put nail polish on so that it doesn't go over the nail. It is absolutely useless and I ended up putting it to the side and doing my nails as normal. I have no idea how you are supposed to position your hands so that no polish goes on the skin at the side of the nails using this and really, most people will have nails that are longer than the top of their fingers so the pictures on the pack are silly as it isn't needed for that part of the nail for the most part. One of my nails had broken and the finger couldn't rest comfortably against the device so the polish ended up going on the skin at the top of that nail! Any advice on how to use this would be appreciated as the girl in the store either couldn't be bothered showing me or didn't speak enough English to help. I personally think she couldn't be bothered as she could speak enough English to tell me about offers and try to sell me stuff! We don't have stores in the UK so it's not like I can even return it.
Anyone used this? I want to find this color but in a larger diameter. This lipstick has a very small diameter making it run out so fast. The color is perfect. http://www.sephora.com/shimmering-rouge-P280945?sk uId=1405513 Thanks!!
Anyone bought these? What eye shadows are you using w/them? I love the color but am struggling w/ what eye shadow palettes/hues would look good. I have dark brown hair & eyes and medium skin tone. Thanks!
Hi !! I recently bought lolita Kay Von D and the color was different. Are you guys planning to get the old formula back ? Is there any way i could buy old formula Lolita & Bow and arrow? Please let me know.
Hello guys im going to switch brand from Paulas Choice to Biodroga most because i dont like their PC spf Moisturizers i use one for sensitive skin right now with spf 30 and with the retinol super antioxidant serum and it **bleep** up my skin. I used that serum with another daycream and never had any problem at all. I like that serum but in the same time its a silicone serum that can cause break outs. Maybe i stick with it as a night serum maybe not. Anyway anyone in here who tried Biodroga MD Skin Booster Uv-Protection Cream Spf 30 or 50? I want hydration on my skin and im planing to buy it with the BIODROGA MD SKIN BOOSTER Advanced Formula Vitamin C Concentrate 15 serum you think that will give me enough hydration because i want the spf factor or should i buy an extra Biodroga MD Perfect Hydration 24-h Care or Biodroga MD ANTI-AGE Collagen Boost Day Care and switch over to lets say the Biodroga MD Skin Booster intense Moisture serum . Im asking because Paulas Choice spf 30 moisture **bleep**ed up my skin and i dont liker their moisturizers at all my skin dosen´t feel hydrated more dry and sticky like an irritating glue so yeah no now i switch over to Biodroga MD instead. So whats your advice?
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with the Cane+Austin Body Retexture Pads. I'm looking for a body product that contains a chemical exfoliant and I want to stay away from heavy moisturizers, so I thought that these pads might be a good option. Unfortunately they're pretty expensive for experimentation purposes. I'd also be open to suggestions for other products. Thanks!

I am 45 in one week! I have just noticed "crosshatch" crepey skin on my cheeks. I have combination skin and most antiaging products cause me to break out in blemishes. I currently use alpha hydroxy acid and salcidic (sp?) acid in light lotions plus mineral sunscreen by Olay every day. If I put anything other than the salcidic acid on at night I wake up to zits...I use this to control blemishes, fade sun marks, and reduce fine lines. I still have pretty good skin tone so I don't use foundation...I don't like the added color nor do I like having makeup on my entire face. I am religious about my sunscreen. Is there anything I can do to take care of my middle age skin that won't cause me to breakout? This new crepey crosshatch stuff is alarming! Just part of aging?
Anyone on here familiar with this product? I saw this on Nordtrom's site and I kinda want to try but I've never heard of this particular foundation and I can't find many reviews on it. Any help would be appreciated
