So lately I have noticed that my neck looks like it belongs to someone of a more mature age. I have very noticeable thick lines on my neck which in my opinion makes me look older. I don't understand why this is happening. Im only 22. I feel like I should start doing something about it before it gets worse. Ladies any help or suggestions?
Hello! I'm looking for an everyday highlighter that looks natural and also doesn't highlight pores. I'm quite fair, with slight warm undertones, dark blonde hair and blue eyes. Some highlighters I was looking at were the Kevin Aucoin Candlelight, the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders, and the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (I think the name is something close to that?$. Which of these do you prefer/think would work best with my colouring? Or is there any other favourites you would reccomend?
I am looking for a nice everyday foundation. I usually wear Makeup 4ever which I LOVE but it is a little too much to wear to class. Is there anything that has nice coverage but doesn't look too cakey? I have somewhat sensitive skin with occasional break outs. Thanks! XOXO
Hey all....does anyone have a product recommendation that is like Mineral Veil (gives healthy "glow", not sparkle and shine) that DOES NOT contain bismuth oxychloride? Loved the look of Veil, but I cannot tolerate bismuth. Thanks in advance.
I am about to finish up my boscia tsubaki overnight sleeping mask. I love using it when my skin is particularly dry and my regular moisturizer just won't cut it. I am happy with the product, but want to try something new. Any suggestions for overnight moisturizing masks?
I went to Sephora today to grab a replacement Silk Creme foundation, and there were two different looking tubes mixed on the display. There were a few colors only available in the original looking tube, and a few with a newer looking design. My color was only there in the new tube, so I decided to get it. The only difference I can see is that this is called Oil Free Photo Edition, and the color is a little warmer and more yellow than my standard Cream Ivory shade. On the box, this one says it is meant for normal to oily skin types...sounds different to me? Has anyone seen this too? Thoughts?
Hello, I currently wear Lancome Bisque 5C liquid makeup. I am looking to add a powder to my bag. Would you recomend the Lancome dual finish powder for touchups and on the go? And if so, which color would I choose...Bisque 2? Thank you!
Hello. Recently I had to take a course of medicine which had the side effect of severely drying out my lips. My lips are now cracked and peeling. Please can you recommend some exfoliation beyond the standard toothbrush/washcloth level? I have tried a home made sugar scrub and that was better than nothing but I'm hoping Sephora might have a better product recommendation. I need to get these skin flags off. After they are off I can work on repair and hydration. Hydration suggestions are also welcome but that's a much easier issue to tame. Argon Oil is helping in that department. Thank you!
i have freckles & dark circles. I'm 38 so makeup does find its way into those lines under my eyes but i also need to know if the concealer is to be darker than my skin to hide these areas or should the concealer be lighter?
I'm interested in purchasing one of these devices. But I'm stuck on which one to buy. My goal is to use it on my legs, armpits and arms. I hear the Tria is small and takes more time to do larger areas, and that the charge only lasts 40 minutes. Though I hear the device works better in terms of hair removal. Also I hear the Silk'n one is more ideal for larger areas since it's bigger but it requires a longer time period to yield results. I'd like to hear the opinions and views of others in terms of which device is better. And if there are any cons in either or, whether it's a risk or simply a flaw that might not make it as ideal as one would like. Thanks in advance.
Hey all! So I just used a sample of the Fresh Rose Mask. My face feels super nice now and hydrated. The price is kind of steep, to me, so can any one help justify purchasing the full size or dissuade me from the full size? I want it to help my skin out in the long run, not just make it feel nice for a little bit after I take it off. Can anyone help me with the long term effects of this mask? Thanks!
I am completely drawn between the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation and the Tare 12 Hour Full Coverage Liquid Foundation. I have medium skin. My nose and forehead break out a lot and I am looking for something that can cover some bumps and looks very natural. I also have some white scars on my cheeks from Pityriasis Alba. I just need something that can make me look like I have naturally perfect skin and can cover my whiteness and my little bit of acne. I am also looking for a powder to put over the foundation. Something that will match the color almost exactly. It doesn't have to be high end it can be drugstore. So you can have an idea of my skin color. I am maybe about a 6.0 in the Urban Decay Naked Skin and I am not sure about my color in the Tarte Foundation. Thank you so much!!
Has anyone tried or recommend the new Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation? I saw lots of great reviews about it. I wear the shade Mont Blanc in the Nars Sheer-Glow foundation, would color 2 match me in this new foundation?
I've purchased from several companies before, namely Sephora (I'm VIB), as well as ulta because they have a physical store fairly close to me. However, in recent months I've had problems with the customer service at Sephora. Our brick and mortar Sephora store where I live is a little farther than my Ulta store, but it's generally the place I tend to go to when I need to test a product out first. Like I said, recently I've had several problems in store with them refusing samples of products I know they have when I can see other people walking around with an armful of samples and I can't even get one. Now I've put up with this because I live in a college town, and a lot of stores have employees that just don't put up with crap, but I've been to this Sephora store several times, I know several of the workers by name, and they know I make a purchase every time I walk in the door. However, the Sephora store in my hometown (about two hours away, not in a college town) is beginning to be the same way with terrible customer service. I'm considering just leaving Sephora all together and getting my products from Nordstrom or somewhere online. Do you guys have recommendations for better companies? Where do you purchase your beauty products? I don't mind ordering things online, or in store, I don't really have a preference, I just need a company that makes me feel like a more valued customer.
Hi! I love the look of eyeliner in my waterline, but I have really watery eyes, so most won't stay. For most of them, they don't even last an hour. I've tried Makeup Forever Aqua eyes in pencil form, which lasted a couple hours but that's been the longest. I've also tried Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner, but that was a dissapointment. I had a castmember recommend Stila, but I wanted to ask first. Anyone have any recommendations?
I'm going to Paris next week, and I want to stock up on beauty products! I heard French drugstores have great stuff (Bioderma!) but I don't know much about anything else. I'm definitely going to visit the Sephora there though
I just turned 52 and my skincare routine that i have followed for years is no longer cutting it. I use cleansing oil (a mixture of Castor, Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, and Jojoba) i massage that on my face and then use a little Clinque liquid soap to remove it. Then I use (I'm almost embarrassed to say this but I use Raw Apple Cider Vinegar with Vitamin E oil, Distilled Water and asprin Toner. What i am wanting okay....NEEDING is a grown up Adult Woman looking at her 50's skin care regimen. I've noticed wrinkles and even more worrisome is a lack of firmness. I should say that i am also in the middle of a weight loss program and have lost 45lbs so far, so things are beginning to sag from both age and weight loss. I don't just have bags under my eyes, they are suitcases. What do you suggest? Any advice appreciated!
Today as I am looking through the orders that are on the way to me I noticed that I ordered 2 more of the same product. One I have already (GA Brow Maestro-ordered same color, wanted to order a different one). And I placed two different orders for Glamglow Thirstycleanse! What a dumbo! Now both those orders will have to be returned...ugh! I just can't believe I did this considering I was checking and rechecking my orders. And yes...I ordered them all from Sephora! Go ahead laugh and tell me what I already know,...I am indeed an addict and a goofy one at that. I'm blaming it on the weather since I think it's causing more confusion than usual! Ok that and a serious lack of sleep...zzzzzzz (I wish!)
Hi, I've tried countless mascaras both waterproof and non, ranging from drugstore to highnend. I've tried They're Real, Better Than Sex, MUFE Aqua Eyes, Smashbox Full Exposure, Covergirl Clump Crusher, Maybeline's the Rocket and others. Yet by the end of the school day I still end up with raccoon eyes, even if I don't touch my face. I am a very active person and tend to have oily skin so even without much physical activity my mascara smears. It would also be great to have a mascara that will last me until after school and softball/cross country practice. I also prefer a natural mascara look, more lengthening than volumizing. Any recommendations? Thanks!
I need to buy eyeshadow brushes and don't know how to start. I need to know exactly the brushes I need to buy, from creating a natural casual look to the smokey eye I love so much. Please help! Thanks!
