Hey, so i was sooooo excited that the milk tattoo stamp finally arrived an hour ago. I stamped two black cute little stars on my wrists. It claims to be waterproof. I washed my hands with water only while some water splashed onto the tattoo.. It started smearing and became purple. Also, I just tried to use makeup remover (that gets out even my most waterproof mascara, but there are still reminants of purple ink (like I got a bruise). Does yours do that? Did I get a defective product?
Hi! As a triathlon coach and athlete I expose my hair and skin daily to sweat, sun and chlorine. I use Bumble and Bumble primer oil daily which helps with hydration. I’m looking for advice on what shampoo would work well without being too drying. I do not color my hair or use heat.
I just found out that the "Espresso Your Love" has been discontinued. I am not interested in the "Caffeine Buzz" shade which is a red brown. What is a good dupe for the Espresso Your Love? I'm looking for something that wears all day on my upper lid, and is a dark brown.
I still shop on my laptop. Unable to look at reviews that disappear seconds after the page loads. Reviews are crucial. Please fix this issue, so that I, and other shoppers, will be more confident in my purchases and less likely to run to a store to return something we can avoid with helpful reviews. Best, TMMS
I have been using Bare Minerals for some time and I like it but am feeling like I need an update and maybe a little more coverage. I would prefer not to wear a liquid make up because I tend to sweat it off in the warmer temperatures. I don't want to waste my time to basically see all the makeup wiped away within a few minutes of leaving my house. I want to look natural but still have some coverage. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am Moving to a humid location and it already happens in the dry environment I live in now. No matter what kind of mascara I buy (my favorite right now is Marc Jacobs) after a couple hours it ALWAYS ends up under my eyes and on the outside crease. How do you prevent this? It happens with every single mascara I've ever tried.
I have a medium skin tone and I'm thinking of purchasing the new Benefit Cheek Parade because I don't have any blush/highlight palette yet. I have medium to dark skin though, so I'm worried that Hoola won't be useful to me as a bronzer, or the Dandelion just plain won't show. Can I use the Rockateur as a highlight? Is this palette worth it or will I just end up with colors I can't use? Would you recommend the colors here for people with medium to dark skintone? (I'm NC35, Estee Lauder Tawny) All the videos show girls with fair caucasian skin so I'm worried that even if it looks good on them, it won't on me. 😅 Spoiler (Highlight to read) Spoiler (Highlight to read) Spoiler (Highlight to read) If you wouldn't recommend this, can you recommend me a good blush/highlight/contour palette under $75? I have combination skin that can get a bit oily so maybe powder would be a better choice.
I've used the Laneige toner but it dried out my skin because i'm using topical creams for acne. i'm now looking for a new toner that does not have alcohol in it because i have sensitive skin, but i also have oily/combination skin with some dry patches, and blackheads/pores in my T-zone. Thank you!
Here are my questions 1. is this sweat proof and will it last all day? I have oily skin so thats why im asking.. I will set with powder but I am still asking. I plan to use in the summer 2. what kind of a moisturizer should I get if I tend to use this foundation... would I use a more mattfying moisturizer (that is for oily skin) or should I get a hydrating moistruzier (that is for all skin types) 3. This sorta goes with the moisturizer question ..but what kind of primer.. would i get a mattfying one or a hydrating one? 4. will this foundation work if I have dry patches?
i've been going to the dermatologist since highschool (am now 25), and think it's time to stop using the Clindamycin and Trentinoin creams from the derm. and get some different skin care products. my skin is sensitive. issues include some dryness, mostly oily skin, blackheads around nose, and light pinkish acne scarring. any suggestions would be appreciated. also, what's the return policy on skin care items?
I'm replacing my older natural hair brushes with synthetics (mostly for ethical reasons). I'm having an extremely hard time finding good quality synthetics, along with the right shapes of brushes that I prefer. I've recently bought two 242 brushes from MUFE, and although I like their shape, they're a little scratchy. I know real techniques are synthetics, but I find their selection of shapes, and variety very limiting (especially for eyes). I'm thinking about trying out Luxie brushes, and Sigma brushes. I've never purchased from either before. If you have any experiences with these companies I'd love to hear it! I'd also love to hear other suggestions if you have any. It's extremely hard shopping for these types of products as it seems everyone is paid for their good reviews. It's really hard to trust anyone.
Hello, I am in desperate need of some suggestions. My hair is naturally very dark, and past my shoulders. I get bored with it (like every girl does) and switch it up. I've had highlights, balayage, my hair bleached. You name it, I have done it. I recently got a wave perm.( I thought it was going to be a good idea for summer so I can just get up and go) It absolutely fried my hair. I am currently using Redken for my shampoo and conditioner. After the perm my hair needed some TLC so I purchased Mudslide by Drybar and it has helped some. Some parts of my hair are frizzy from the damage, and it just doesn't feel healthy anymore. The curls from the perm aren't even there anymore, so I end up straightening or curing it everyday. I need a good everyday shampoo and conditioner to bring my dry damaged hair back to life.
I've never purchased a setting spray before but I want to get one this weekend before my bachelorette party! Do you prefer All Nighter or the De-Slick setting spray and what are some of the major differences between the two? My skin is normal/combo. I usually get oily in my T-zone and my chin, so I was considering the De-Slick spray, but I've heard such good things about All Nighter so I'm having difficulty choosing. Any advice would be appreciated!
Just got off the phone with Natasha Denona and team and they are SO excited for our live chat this Thursday. I gushed about how amazing you all are and how excited we are to have Natasha for a live chat and she is equally as excited
Here are the details:
12-1pm PST (but I will open the thread ~30 mins early)
See you there! Katie
Hi there Looking for recommendations for a self-tanner for my face.. I use St Tropez mousse for body but have not tried their face one yet - I'd love to hear feedback before I purchase at $40. I have used Vita Liberata on my face in the past.. any top tips or recommendations for other brands? Thanks
I don't think I seen a thread on this but has anyone tried this brush head? I saw a couple of you tubers using it and got curious. First off, as soon as I saw the new foundation brush head I thought I looked just like the satin luxe precision brush head. So me being me...of course I tried it out with the satin brush I already have and it worked really well. I wonder if they're basically the same brush with different colored bristles?
Hi! I actually do not have much experience with skin care routines and I would really appreciate some advice. There are so are so many suggestions and routines online that I never know quite what to do. Normally I have always just washed my face before bed to take off my makeup from the day and my skin has been clear. But recently I have started to get lots of clogged pores on my chin and forehead along with blackheads all over my nose and acne in my T-Zone as well as along my jaw line. I really want to get this all cleared up and would appreciate any advice on products and routines!
I have fine hair that I'm required to wear up for my job. It's still semi-wet when I put it up because it takes forever to dry and I'm not going to blow dry it everyday just to put it up into a bun. Yes, I try to make it loose but it can't be messy. I'm also outdoors a lot so my hair sees the sun, wind, rain, etc. I'm looking for a product that will protect my hair from the elements and the constant up do. I'll admit, due to how fine it is, I even wear it up on my days off and especially to the gym.
I got my hair done on Sunday for a wedding... when I went to wash it today its a complete disaster after blow drying it. It is not soft like it use to be.... is there anyway to fix this? I want my hair back to normal!!!
Hi I have been using the dior star foundation in shade 020 and liked it. However to my dismay, it has been discontinued on Sephora.com and I ran out of my last bottle. Can you suggest me a suitable/or better alternative? Best, Sabi
I'm looking for a resuracing, pore minimizing, scar diminishing, and anti-aging exfoliator. I have done my research and realize I'm asking a lot of qualities pertaining to a product. If anyone has suggestions outside of an exfoliator, I'm all ears. I am particularly in the market for an exfoliator and am always open to new skin care suggestions!
