Welcome back to the deal sharing fun! Deals shared here may also be posted to my blog (same name as the thread) unless you write for BT only. If I share your deal, I will always thank you here. I will heart every deal I see (without an outside or cheat link) to acknowledge it. Beautytalk (the forum) does not allow outside links . A heart with no comment means I already have the deal or am deciding not to list it. Please list the retailer (without the link or cheat link; dot com) if it is not mentioned in the picture. Mods come in more often when they see any type of link. Thanks for sharing (original deals and repeats are welcome)! Discussion is encouraged. A lot of questions come with certain deals or retailers. When I see questions I can answer, I will respond (unless the poster consistently ignores me or someone else answers the complete question). I read all the main posts (so no need to tag me). If you're replying to a post that is not near the top of the thread and want me or a specific person to see it, please tag us. If you're posting about something on sale at Sephora, please share it here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Hauls/Sephora-Sale s-Section-Get-it-Now/m-p/2122832#M44949
I have pretty dry yet acne prone skin. I was wondering if anyone could suggest either a contour kit or product they use for contouring for pale skin. To give you an idea of how pale I am I will post a picture though now I am a shade or two darker. I am looking for something cooler rather than a warm tone. Thanks
I have hazel eyes and fair skin, but black eyebrows and eyelashes, what are some nice blushes and highliters? I know Becca Champagne Pop is a popular one, but that just doesnt work for me. It's too yellow on my skin
I just got an e-mail from ebates about a new thing — in store cash back! You add your credit or debit card to your ebates account, find an in-store cash back offer you like (like Sephora), then pay with the linked card in-store to get your money back! No more kicking yourself when you've forgotten to go through ebates first. FYI, Sephora is at 4%!
I was thinking we should have an "official" NUDE Skincare thread, in case something comes out from this new NUDE story that is happening lately. ( And even if not. ) So we can follow it all here. There are some threads, but those are more just questions and inquiries about NUDE stuff. It would be easier to have all things NUDE at one place, so we can all share news, updates, those possible new products, and anything NUDE here. This is an announcement on Beautycounter about NUDE Skincare: "It is with great excitement that we announce Counter Brands, LLC, parent company of Beautycounter, has acquired the worldwide assets of NUDE Skin Care, Inc. and NUDE Brands, Ltd. founded by Ali Hewson, the wife of musician and social activist, Bono. As a result of this deal, and their genuine interest in our products and mission, Bono will join the company as an investor and Ms. Hewson will join the Board of Directors of Counter Brands, LLC. Similar to our partnership with Target, this validation from such respected public figures will lead to increased brand awareness and client base. We are thrilled to have them join our team. The synergy between our two companies – from mission to ingredient selection process – makes NUDE a logical and compelling addition to our growing brand portfolio. We believe that incredible things are possible for our business and our unwavering advocacy work in D.C. For the foreseeable future, the Beautycounter and NUDE lines will exist as they do today." They also said: "“We will continue to sell through their existing channels of distribution,” Renfrew said of Nude. “The idea is to grow the channels of distribution as well as the product line as a whole,” she said." Also: "NUDE products are currently available in the US on Sephora.com, across Europe in Space.NK stores and online, in Australia in Mecca stores and Mecca.com." Response from Sephora's CS ( 6/30/2016 ): "The Nude Skin care line has been highly anticipated with our clients, and we can certainly appreciate your interest! At this time, some of the NUDE products are limited edition and will be on our site as supplies last, while other products are on our site to stay! We suggest staying tuned to Sephora's promotional emails, as new product launches are frequently announced via email. Additionally, keep checking back on our website under the Quick Link "Just Arrived"." If you have any news, please feel free to share them here. If you have questions, post them here, and hopefully someone will have answers. Or we can all "investigate" together and try to find out what's cooking.
Hey guys! So I just started feeling comfortable wearing makeup since I don't really get pimples anymore sadly I still have a lot of acne marks which can make me feel insecure sometimes I'd love to hear your advice on how I can clear my face? Also before applying makeup I still feel like my skin isn't clean is there anything I can put on before applying makeup? Thank you xoxo
I used to use a combination of Philosophy Omega 3,6,9 Replenishing Oil and Decleor Ultra Cocooning cream. The new Philosophy Replenishing glee is inferior and the Omega oil by FRESH is no where near as hydrating. Unfortunately Decleor updated it's ultra cocooning cream and it's not the same. I'm searching for equivalent replacements without glycolic acid, retinol etc as I use these separate. Looking for a super duper hydrating night cream please help!
What is a good line for an anti-aging line and which products are best? I want to start a new routine (anti-aging) and I know they can be pricey but want something that truly works to fight fine lines. wrinkles, crows feet. Thank you!
I overdid a chemical peel and now my skin is raw in one area. I need it to be as heeled as possible by tomorrow for a social event. The walk in clinic only gave me 1% cortisone cream. What can I use to heal this and what makeup will cover it?
Hey Sephora! I never remember what the different expiration dates are for various products. I'd love it if when I make a purchase as Sephora, either online or offline, my receipt would come with tiny stickers I could place on the containers, as well as an email and/push notification to say, "If it's not already gone, throw out that mascara!" Anyone else in the same boat?
Hi Beauty Insiders! My question regards the use of beauty brands and z-palettes. I've hopped on the z-palette bandwagon and have started to depot my makeup. Even with the "prying" tools and the use of the heating method, the pans can be hard to pry. My question is, what are some makeup brands that are easy to depot? As "conceited" as it sounds, my heart breaks a little when I crack the makeup I'm trying to get out. Thanks, IMAS
Looking for a Mascara that doesnt smudge??? I have tried so many different mascaras and i find after a couple of hours there is black under my eye and it isnt from my foundation but it creates a terrible look.. What are the best mascaras that dont leave back eyes ?? THanks
I'm starting to amass a nice collection of makeup but I have limited counter space. Currently I'm using plastic drawers which is working nicely but they are filling up and I know I'll eventually need to stack another set of drawers on top of the current one. Wondering how you all store your makeup. Anyone want to share pictures and ideas?
I'm new to makeup. So I finally decided to try out SEPHORA, only because I've heard great things. I'm looking for a foundation and concealer for semi-dry sensitive skin, something that's light, medium to full coverage, something that looks natural, and that's long-lasting. Any suggestions or recommendations?
I love the color of the Sephora Collection lipliner in "pale beige", but it doesn't have anywhere near enough staying power. Are there any long-wearing lipliners (maybe one of the nars or similar) that are the same color?
'tis that time again, canyabelieve it ? what have been your favorites beauty things this month ? new things, old things, rediscovered and reaffirmed things, whatever the things ! (Patsy and Eddie celebrating their "things. just gorgeous things.") i've admittedly have had a rather low maintenance slow-paced month. but i have a few favorites ! DR DENNIS GROSS alpha beta peel pads, ultra gentle . i used up the majority of my points the past 2 months grabbing up this 100 pt perk over and over. i don't consider my skin sensitive (reactive though, yes, if unhappy), but i find the strength of these, for regular use, to be perfect. i love me some good acids but am very careful not to overdo it (or else i break out !) and these pads have struck the perfect balance. i think far too many people go for the extra-strength ones because they equate "extra strength" with "better". that ain't always the case. highly recommend these. ETAT LIBRE D'ORANGE fat electrician. they call this a "modern vetiver", and sure, the vet is there. but i call this a myrrh miracle. etat is becoming one of my very favorite fragrance brands. NARS audacious lipstick, annabella . my favorite summer red. she's pretty. when i put her on i'm still shocked by how much my face appears brightened ! i'll add stuff as i think about it ! NARS illuminator, silver factory . this was a LE color from the andy warhol collection--a collection that happened before i developed my NARS fixation, or even knew that makeup collections were really a thing. a darling BTer gave this to me AND I AM SO GRATEFUL !! for a silver highlight, it's very wearable, and i've really reallllly enjoyed not only just finally having something from this collection, but actually using it too <3
So I keep all of my makeup in the closet of my dressing room. I just ordered some MUJI acrylic drawer sets and am working on getting everything organized. When you open the closet door it blocks the window in the dressing room and even with the ceiling light on, it's quite dark in the closet. I'm not really in the market to hire an electrician to come out and put lighting in this closet. It's soooo tiny anyhow. Does anyone have any ideas for lighting? I've seen some cabinet lighting LED on Amazon, but I wonder if it will be bright enough to make it functional. Thanks!
Hello all! My doctor has put me on Tretinoin .1% to help erase the annoying red marks that WILL NOT go away. I wouldn't say I have acne. I have minor breakouts when I have a reaction to something, hormonal breakouts, ya know the normal stuff. My problem was picking. So, I needed something serious to help with scars and those annoying bright red marks that force you to wear makeup. I've also been put on minocycline as well as a topical anti-bacteria cream. My question is this : What products are a must with these prescriptions? I mean my face is SO DRY. Which is expected but I've tried every lotion under the sun I feel like and nothing is really doing justice. I've even tried Josie Maron Aragon Oil! I keep reading Cerve Pm or the lotion in the tub, I've heard Sephora has a Ceramide moisturizer as well? I've also been told ot make sure I incorporate lots of antioxidants. Is there a product that has all of this? What should I be looking for? AHH! HELP PLEASE!
I need some recommendations on a good body shimmer product similar to the Natasha Denona Body Glow. I want something to put on my shoulders, collarbone, chest, and legs for an evening awards banquet. I already checked past posts and most of the stuff that comes up on BT are temporary self-tanners. I want something thats more of a body highlighter that won't rub off on my clothes, and something I can either purchase from Sephora, Ulta, or local drugstores. The reason being, is so that I can return it if I don't like the product, and I also need the product ASAP since I am leaving on my fiancé's work convention in two weeks and I need the product for that trip. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Hello! I went to Sephora inside JCP today and purchased two items. I had a coupon for a free gift with purchase which I redeemed. The lady was extremely nice and asked me if I wanted to redeem any of my points, to which I replied no because none of the perks were interesting. After I got home in the evening I noticed that 100 points were missing from my account. I thought it was a glitch so I waited to see if it would be corrected. I checked again a couple minutes ago and the points are still missing. I'm very annoyed because this is not the first time this happens, if I knew the GWP would cost me 100 points I wouldn't have asked for it. I wrote about my experience in the past at the same Sephora and the fact that they charged me 200 points for two GWP that were free. At this point, I don't care about the points I just hope this doesn't happen again. The lady was very sweet and my experience was pleasant. I just wish Sephora inside JCP stops deducting points for GWP that clearly state FREE in the flyer. It went from free to free with purchase and now it's free with purchase but might cost you 100 points... Thank you.
