I have a beauty insider card that I always use when I shop in the store, but recently I bought some things online and I realized the points from the card do not show up on my online account. I used the same email for both so I don't understand why the points don't show up, but is there a way to combine them? Can I do it myself? Thanks!
So today I called the VIB rouge line, regarding my naked 3 palette since it is taking longer than usual. So than I proceed to explain to her, than when I ordered the palette I only got 10 points less than what I paid for. Canadian price is different price. She proceeds to tell me that, we (canadians) get our online points based on the american price not the Canadian. I've been told that before, we get our 1:1 points, not based on American. Since apparently now, we canadians who make online orders, will only get american points. Which seems unfair. She did adjust the difference and said it was a one time deal. Has anyone been told that? Makes me not want to make big purchases online...
Imagine my surprise when buying Sephora gift cards for the holidays that we are only allowed to buy ONE at a time. Not one per denomination ($10, $25, $40...) but only one gift card per order ! It is super annoying to have to place 5 orders and get 5 confirmation emails. I'm not sure why what the "business sense" is behind this sort of restriction. I hope it's a programming glitch!.
Today I was thinking about products I had never heard of, or didn't expect to find, and then loved. Recently I went by Victoria's Secret (which I don't usually shop for a whole list of reasons), because I had a $10 promo gift card with no minimum purchase... so I figured, free stocking stuffer. But of course I got something for MYSELF haha! I am picky about beauty (and other) products, and normally only use high-end, stuff I've tested, and stuff that's highly recommended. I honestly don't even have any drugstore products in my house, I'm that picky. But I tried their Lip Primer on a whim and I LOVE IT. It's $12, so a reasonable price. It has this velvety not quite matte finish that makes my chapped or irritated lips look smooth and soft with soft edges. I was totally shocked by this sleeper that I have never heard of! It also has the slightest light peachy tint, so it looks great blurred outside my lip line as a smoother and soft of highlighter. It's also not too squishy and not TOO stiff and waxy. I like lip primer on the slightly waxy side. Do you have a favorite find that you weren't expecting, never heard of, or was kind of obscure or surprising? EDIT: In doing a search for this post I found out this product is being discontinued! So sad. I am going to pick another one up this week if they still have them, as a back up. Seriously, this is so sad for me I rarely find a product I love!
Use Verve on the inner corner of eye as well as brow bone. Then take pistol and cover lid. using black out on the outer corner of eye, under the lash line and up into the crease, blend up and out. Use urban decay 24/7 glide on pencil in zero above lash line and smudge into lash line.

I have oily skin, more oil in T zone, but also oily in top cheek area (the part of the cheeks that's closest to nose/eye.) BUT, the part of the cheeks that's further down (below cheekbone until past jawline) is very dry! I have a hard time finding a good moisturizer for this type of skin. I need oil control in the middle but moisture in the bottom. I use acne medication in the jawline area and chin area that makes it even more dry. I wonder if the IBUKI moisturizer would be hydrating enough for this or do you have another suggestion? thank you!!!!!
I went to sephora and matched my skin tone to the perfect foundation from MAKEUP FOREVER 170 ... what is the skin code for medium glow skin tone? is 3y01? I would like to know any other matches for my skin tone
Do any of you have MAC's Grey Friday lipstick? It was last year's Black Friday release. If you have it and don't want it, I'm interested in buying it. At a reasonable price of course. I can't believe I didn't know about it. Now that I do I want it and have lost many auctions on ebay trying to get it... that or sellers aren't shipping to Canada... and well I am not willing to spend 70$ + when it sold for 15$. I guess it's not a big deal if I don't get it but thought I'd ask here before I stop looking Thanks!
I currently wear Givenchy Photo'Perfexion Fluid Foundation SPF 20 PA+++ in 4 Perfect Vanilla, but would like purchase Givenchy Teint Couture Long-Wearing Fluid Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20. What shade is the correct color to choose?
Does any one else use Luvocracy? I'm kindof obsessed right now. It's like Pinterest where you can actually buy the products and also get a small credit if people buy from your Luvs (recommendations). My user name is Kandie Herrera, come find me or leave your user name as well. Just purchased the Beauty Blender solid cleanser with my credit! Hope it works wonders
I am trying to decide between NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and Lancôme Effacenes under eye concealer. I hear good things about both. I have pretty dark circles under my eyes and am light to medium olive skin tones. Any suggestions? I've asked about concealers in the past but, have narrowed it down to these two! I have used the Lancôme before in beige. It wasn't great, I am thinking of buying it in Claire II this time hoping it works better! I am not familiar with the NARS at all and could use some input on product and color. Thank you so much!!
I live in Australia and fell in love with sephora during a trip to the usa last year. Cosmetics in aus are literally 2 -3 times the price of the usa so I have been making some large orders from sephora every now and then and shipping them to me via a parcel forwarding site. The products I purchase are for my personal use only and I never take advantage of promotions. Furthermore very rarely do I make returns. It appears sephora you will no longer ship to parcel forwarding sites. This has left a number of your clients extremely unhappy and disappointed. What is the issue with me purchasing your products for my own personal use here in australia? I am one of your clients- however no efforts have been made to correct this issue?? Surely a check can be performed on an individual's previous purchases to find out if they are a legitimate client or if they are buying to resell or for the promos/samples etc. I look forward to a mods response on the topic. Thanks!
I found this company that is giving away an acrylic makeup box....to CANADIANS! super excited and wanted to share! I was looking at muji but with shipping not sure if its worth it and then found this! https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid= 628068890573081&id=175612839152024
Has anyone used it and is it worth $200? My teeth are slightly yellow and I am not sure if it is from wine, coffee and cokes...or just the color of my teeth.... Also, can you share this??? Could my husband use this too? Maybe I could get it for him for Christmas (but really a Christmas present for me...sneaky sneaky...)!
I am trying to select a good brush for contouring with Sephora's Los Cabos. The brushes I am trying to choose from are: MAKE UP FOR EVER 150 Precision Blush Brush MAKE UP FOR EVER 152 Medium Highlighter Brush SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Contour Brush #74 MAC 109 Small Contour Brush Sigma F05 Small Contour Brush Which will give me the best contouring effect (but still natural but buildable) while being the best quality?
