I have very dry skin and due to me having a new baby I can't get in to get color matched. I'm currently wearing kat von d light 46. I like the coverage but when I put it on I look all dry and cakey. I don't know if it's my moisturizer , primer, or foundation. Anyways my question is what's a good hydration full coverage foundation and what color would be close to the kat Von d light 46. Thank you so much
Hi, So just wondering what is a good brow product? I know soo many people and youtube guru's have been using the ABH products. Any others that are good that you all could recommend without having to pay so much? Even a kit would do...i have black eyebrows...would brown be best to use? like a dark chocolate brown color? I am open to suggestions....there are so many out there...just wondering what product is good.
I am currently in between eye cream products. I am 54 with typical crease, sun exposure etc.. I have used Bobbi Brown eye creams(all 3 hydrating,firming,..) Also have used her face products for years. I have been using some of the Fresh products, enjoy the fragrance, texture. At my last trip to Sephora, I (with the help of a salesgirl) purchased some Perricone products. Any suggestions where to go with this. Stick with Bobbi Brown or explore other options. I get to overwhelmed with all the products out there. Unfortunately the closest Sehora store is miles away. Thanks
Can anyone recommend a shade/color of the Buxom full-on lip polish that doesn't have glitter (or at least the glitter is very mild) AND isn't too neutral? *I have an olive complexion and a pink tint to my lips already. Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions!
hey! so i've been looking for a good foundation for a really long time and can't seem to find one. I've tried everything drugstore brands and high end brands, but they never seem to have the coverage that I want. I'm looking for a foundation that can't be seen by anyone i really want it to blend in with my skin. I also have acne scars and acne that I would want to cover up. Is there a foundation that can do all this for me?
So I finally got this with my 500 points perk! Woot! I tried it out today to contour and brighten and highlight as well. But I guess cause Im semi new at all this highlight and contouring, my face was all red and you could see that I have LOTS of makeup on. So I ask, what is the first step before contouring and how do I get it to perfection? Yes, the steps are in the back of the box but I still dont understand it.
There was a thread not that long ago about those asian exfoliating foot peel masks and since seeing it and discovering that (thanks to whoever initially posted about it!) I just knew I had to buy it. I just thought that my Canadian gals would like to know that I found a box at Pharmaprix in Quebec (otherwise known as Shoppers in the rest of Canada) for pretty cheap. The internet told me that Shoppers carried a brand called Footner, but that's not what I found. But I did find "Feet Treat Pedi" by "Look Beauty" and the box says it was made in Korea. It was 10$. I got the last two boxes. It has the same directions as all the other ones: soak feet, wear for 60-90 mins, rinse feet. Feet start peeling in a few days. I'll either try it tonight or tomorrow night. I'm kind of excited but scared I'll go nuts and peel all my skin off. I just hope its as good as the real deal. I guess I'll know in about a week.

Hi everyone, I recently bought the Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop in the shade Leila. I LOVE the color so so much, which is why I am hesitant about returning the product even though I've had some difficulty using it. Even if I do a few thin layers to build up color, it looks very patchy on the lids. The color is not smooth-it looks like a layer of sparkles with a light tint(even less than an hour after application) Does anyone have any tips to better use this product? It would be much appreciated! Thank you!
So I have tried so many different foundation over the past 2 weeks in hopes of finding my new Holy Grail one. I guess MUFE HD in 120 is my best match. Most people have a lighter face and darker neck/body, but due to my hyper pigmentation my face is darker, so the 120 evens everything out. I have been on an acne treatment which has dried my face out, so the HD is clinging to my dry patches regardless of what moisturizer, serum, primer I use. So then comes LM Moisturizing foundation in Bamboo Beige (which is nearly a perfect match to 120) i like the feel (or lack there of) my problem is, is that it says medium to full coverage and I am only getting the results of a tinted moisturizer. I use my beauty blender, which was suggested and the new primer that was suggested was MUFE equalizer 4.( i think it's the hydrating one) I have tried building, and am not getting any better results. I refuse to return this one, even though I feel like for $48 it's expensive and i don't think you get much product. So I would like to make this work, just need a suggestion for better coverage. I have been setting it lightly with the LM translucent loose powder. Thanks everyone
I'm looking for a new Pore Primer. I have tried literally every one from sephora and none of them work well with my skin. I have oily skin. I have heard that Korean/Japanese brands make some amazing ones, does anyone know of any good pore primers? Thank you!
Has anyone with rosacea used the Makeup Forever Face and Body foundation? It's very hot and humid where I live, and I am looking for a foundation that will even out my skin tone and will stay put in the heat. Thanks!!
Hello beautiful ladies! I hope one of you is able to help me out with this question. So I know nothing about lip liners other than those from MAC. Now that I have run out of my beloved MAC Cork, I thought this was a good time to test other lip liner formulas. Can any of you tell me of a solid dupe for Cork? I'm super interested in seeing what other brands have to offer. Thank you!
There's no Color IQ for Cover FX drops, but I was matched at P20 by my neck- which I think makes me look washed out and too pink. My pic should be attached of the P20. I'd like to do N20, or even N25 since I think I look so pale in 20. My color IQ is 3y06 and says I'm Light Med Olive in Ardency- which makes no sense because I am Alabaster (2nd to lightest color) in Clinque Stay Matte. I was thinking Light Beige for this brand. I'm trying to decide between the two based on which is best for my sensitive skin, oily t-zone, patchy dry spots and for long wear. I've been wearing the Cover FX for about 4 hours, and it already seems to be breaking up. Help, please.
Does anyone know of a good banana scent conditioner? I heard about the one from The Body Shop, but I read a lot of reviews how it doesn't exactly smell like bananas. I want something that's very moisturizing and leaves my hair really soft, with the sweet scent. Thanks!
I would love mascara recommendations for dry sensitive eyes. I typically wear Clinique High Impact Mascara, but I think I may have developed an allergy to it. Any recommendations and/or feedback from your personal experience would be wonderful. (FYI I have worn Clinique High Impact Mascara for year because it does an awesome job with lengthening and thickening...not because it is dermatologist tested. It really is an awesome mascara.)
Okay I have a problem, I've just started to notice that my underage circles make me look extremely tired. I don't have bags but dark circles. How do I get rid of them or at least hid them. I'm only 18 by the way. I'm also having problems with acne around my chin area is there something I can use to get rid of this? I have an interview at a store and want to look good!! Please Help!!
So I feel like i've tried almost every mascara out there, including those primers before the mascaras and nothing helps. I have really long lashes and it's great and I get complemented on them all the time with people asking me if they're real and what not. The problem is they are stick straight. They look great for the first few hours but after that it's game out. I can play with them to give them a little boost but who wants to keep going that. I curl them, I apply the Diorshow primer and I feel like i've used every mascara under the sun but i'm still open to suggestions so throw them at me. Ones to avoid because i've already used them Guerlain Maxi Lash, Urban Decay Perversion, Benefit They're Real, Too Faced Better Than Sex, Dior Overcurl, Diorshow, YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils, and too many drug store ones to name and one that I thought actually worked pretty well but flaked Also, lash curlers, does brand really matter? And why is it that sometime my lashes will curl the opposite direction, like out instead of back? It's also frustrating because I feel like one eye always curls perfect and other always sucks, kind of like eyeliner, it's the worst!
Hello, I have been using Philosophy's A to Z cream in Light for a long time and it is perfect for me - I have sensitive, dry, very pale skin and this was the only cream that blended well with my coloring, didn't dry me out, and did not irritate my skin. I need something comparable asap since I can no longer find this cream in the Light shade. Please help!
