I'm 16. My dress is (most-likely going to be) mint and long, my hair will probably be up/curled. My skin is very, very pale but a couple days before I'll be using Tarte's Brazilliance self-tanner, so I'll still be fair but slightly bronzed. I have dark brown hair, freckles, and green eyes. I want some kind of contour, not really sure how extreme. Not sure what eyeshadow colors to use--I have Naked 2 and 3 but I still have a while to purchase others if necessary. Also not sure what my lip color should be (in coordination to my eyeshadow). Another concern is if I should go for natural looking falsies+eyeliner or skip both. Thank you!
I am extremely pale with cool undertones/pinkish undertones and I have brown freckles. My hair is very dark brown and my eyes are a dark green. I'm completely lost on what color prom dress to get. Half of the people tell me a light color will wash me out and half tell me a dark color will wash me out! I will be self-tanning a few days before prom (not orange! Don't worry, I'm using a green-based tanner. Did my research) so I'll still be fair but slightly tanner if that affects anything. So what's a makeup look that doesn't really depend on the dress color but good for SLIGHTLY tanned fair skin, dark hair, green eyes?
Currently debating between Tarte Brazilliance vs. St. Tropez (Self-tanners). I have never self-tanned before, and I am extremely pale. My main concern is not looking orange and price. Main question: Can St. Tropez be applied to the face? If not, that will be the deal breaker for me as I cannot afford to go buy an additional face-tanner for $30. I know St. Tropez Dark would probably be the best color option because of the green color-guard base but the face application is still an issue. Thanks!
I have thick shoulder length brown hair that is straight. Every time I use the curling iron the curls never stay for too long. I've tried hairspray but it makes my hair feel like dry straw. What could I do to make the curls stay?
I just bought the new eyelash curler for round eyes on here. Anyone else try it and have tips? It was super weird so I feel like I'm missing a technique to use the gadget or I don't really have round eyes...
I am only 30 and i have not shown any first signs of aging (wrinkles, sagging, bigger pores etc). The cream actually helps to control facial oil production. It moisturizes but not overly. But is it ok to keep using it when i do not have any signs of aging yet? Thank you.
I'm forever looking for an ashy (rather than warm) toned brow pencil, such as a charcoal color. My hair is very dark brown, almost black. I love the Sephora collection brow pencil in soft charcoal, however, it is tiny (0.003oz) for the price. It adds up fast when using a brow pencil every day--even if not used excessively. I prefer pencils that are waterproof, or at least have a waxy consistency with staying power. Does anyone know of a perfect color? Thanks!
I was hoping you guys would know. I contacted Bobbi brown about where they get their squalane source for their moisturizers, like their eye cream, and they haven't gotten back to me for several weeks now. I'm really hoping they don't source it from shark liver....
I have been searching for a valid discount code for hours, i have placed many large orders over the past few months, the pending order in my account right now is over $300. can you please give me a satisfactory discount code so I can finally place my order? Thank you.
what are you no longer supporting the products you sell? What are customers of the Sephora Opi Gel Shine home gel system supposed to do about purchasing the nail color, top coats, base coats, etc., when you phase them out? You are leaving your customers in a bad position after they faithfully paid the full price for your at home gel system.
I am 40 and have dry skin and fine lines/wrinkles. I am looking for a foundation that won't make me look more wrinkly and dry than I already do. Any suggestions for a foundation that will provide coverage without drying out my skin?
I got recommended Benefit's They're Real, and I loved the way it made my lashes look but it is soooooo hard to remove at night. What's something that will still give me that nice full lash look but will come off quite easy with my cleanser?
I'm looking for any information about the best brands and colors, I have very fair skin and brown eyes, to wear when having professional photos are being taken as I will be having engagement pictures being taken soon, I normally wear very little makeup and stick to neutral colors. I almost never wear lipstick/color as I can never find one that isn't sticky/clumpy or needs to be reapplied after an hour. Any input/opinions will be helpful!
I need a top-notch dermatologist. The two I've seen here have repeatedly ignored my requests for a skin care regimen. I have had acne since I was a teenager, been on Accutane twice I think between the ages of 18-26. It worked temporarily then my acne came back and I haven't been able to get rid of it since. I have acne on my face, behind my ears, scalp, and throat/neck. Some are the painful kind. I don't get whiteheads, just mainly nodular. My skin is t-zone oily and normal in other areas. I have an oily scalp and oily eyelids. I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and hairline. The dermatitis used to affect my forehead and cheeks but thankfully not any more. Right now it's just my scalp but is under control with a prescription shampoo. Back to the acne, no topical medications have worked for me. I'm almost 39 years old and haven't had clear or healthy skin since before puberty. PLEASE PLEASE help.
Hello Beautymates, I am 18years old I have acne its not too bad I know how to deal with the ups and down it brings but my skin it starting to have quite an uneven texture, very bumpy, and some of my pores are starting to look a little wonky any help or suggestions would be welcomed.
I wear Clinique stay-matte oil-free makeup (08 Golden Neutral) and would like to try the Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation but am not sure what color to use. None of the Sephora stores in Hawaii carry the Koh Gen Do brand so I can't test the color on my skin. Any ideas what color I can use?
My first Sugar Pop look. I really love this palate and the way the colors look on super blendable and easy shadows to work with. Thought I would share and get some more ideas from you guys! Ps: please ignore the scary arched eyebrow lol I swear they're even I don't know why I do that in pictures! Habit I'm trying to break! Lol
I find because of my sensitive acne prone skin that certain brands work well for me. I also fear that I get caught up with a brand and if I want a product it takes very little to sway me (if I have the money for it of course) I have acquired almost all the Tarte Clay blushes and the Kat Von D LE palettes...etc. It's like a sickness. Very hard for me to try new brands!
I just saw Clinique's new colours for their Cheek Pop and they all look SO gorgeous. But I can't decide on a colour! I have light-medium skin with a neutral-warm undertone. For reference, I am around a 2Y05/2Y06. What colours would look good? I prefer a warm peachy-rosy blush. Peach, Ginger, Melon, Pink, and Fig Pop all look really nice.
I am on the primer hunt and I would love opinions! I need a face primer for very combination skin. I tried a sample of the Hourglass primer but I can't decide if I want to spend so much on it unless it is worth it. I am also looking for a good eye primer for oily hooded lids. I can't decide if I want the MAC 24 hr eye base or the Nars eye primer.
