FEATURED POST
HelloCoffee
Can we please talk about the new MUFE shadows?!
Have you guys seen these?! There are tons of shades and finishes to choose from, and you can build your own palette! I can't wait to try these; I wonder if Sephora will carry all of the shades? There are so many and I'd really like to go in and test a good chunk of them.     http://www.sephora.com/artist-shadow-P387670?skuId =1622745

LUV TB: Lost Unicorn for VIBRouge Traveling Box
--closed-- Box of awesome high end items and unicorns, show me yours and I'll show you mine, lol. While I’m not “ancient”, I’ve been on BeautyTalk WAY longer than I ever expected and have made some very good friends….as well as been enabled into getting WAY more makeup, lol. It is getting a bit overwhelming and as much as I like pretty things, my style is more minimalist, so I don’t reaaally need 6 or 7 jars of Guerlain meteorites etc. To help revamp/reorganize my stash as well as having some fun with the awesome friends I’ve made, I’m doing the LUV TB.    It contains lots of makeup that I love but never use, altho I couldn’t bear to part with any perfumes or majority of the skincare, so you ladies will have to make up for it along the way. Keep it classy, with high end and preferably new or lightly used things. No drugstores. Since it’s got tons of expensive items, I asked people I trust who are interested, so the box is closed. If it goes well, I may do another one next year when I've accumulated enough treasures. =P   Expand below to see the rules, taken from the awesome roxystar4 and slightly simplified:   Spoiler (Highlight to read) * Please make sure every item is in a plastic ziplock bag to prevent spills. Help! Black Eyeliner for Oily Eyelids
So I have really oily eyelids. Yeah, I know gross. I've tried a few eyeliners in the past, and I do love them but they never last. I've tried drugstore and some higher brands.    Examples: 1) Stila - it started to flake after the first few hours 2) Kat von D Tattoo Liner- Love but doesn't last more than 4 hours.. it fades 3) Maybelline Gel liner- it stayed but wasn't waterproof and smudged when i cried... yikes 4) Mac kohl liner in feline- smudged everywhere! pretty much a nightmare   I'm not looking for a pencil.. I'm in more preference of liquid... maybe gel. I was thinking perhaps Marc Jacobs liquid liner, Benefit Push Up Liner, or even Tarte Gel Pot. I  know its sort of splurge buys but I just don't know anymore. Please, any suggestions?    A bit of more information. I like to do small wings and thats basically my makeup for the day. I wear it all day every day. So something that is smudgeproof and waterproof is a must!

Holding a curl?
Hi, folks--   I have very thick hair that is slightly wavy that goes to about mid-back.  It will totally stay stick straight if I blow it out or use a flat iron.  But if I want to coax it in the other direction and get soft curls, they fall within an hour or two.  Short of dousing my hair with an entire can of hairspray, what other solutions are there?  I'd love to keep the look soft and with movement.  I typically use rollers, but sometimes a curling or flat iron.   Thanks in advance for your help!

Eye Primer for Oily Eyelids???
Hi, I'm in need of a new eye primer. I have been using the Nars Pro Prime. It has been the best I've tried so far but recently it's starting to let me down. I don't know if it's the warmer weather or the eye shadow I'm using but every thing has been creasing, smudging, and/or fading by mid day. My eyelids are super oily, I never even put concealer on them because it never stays. I've already tried Urban Decay and have never liked that one. I've even used the hourglass face primer on my eyelids but that didn't help much either.  Can anyone recommend a good eye primer for me?  I would also prefer the eye primer to be paraben free. Thank you.

Q. I've lost my glow and have foundation frustration!
I have a chronic illness, and use to have a perfect olive skin tone. However, as my disease has progressed my skin is very pale. I have tried so many foundations, and nothing seems to work. I love wearing full coverage light, and flawless. Concealers are a problem, to. My dark circles are very difficult to cover. I wish my skin tone could have at least a warm glow. Any advice?

Subscription box photo sharing
I've been on the Ipsy waiting list, but still look at the thread. I thought we could have a shared thread from all the subscription boxes (including non-beauty ones likes underpants and lifestyle such as Wantable and POPSugar). That way we can live vicariously through each others goodies!   (I know there are unboxing videos on YouTube, but I do not have the patience to sit through a five minute video about someone apologizing for the state of their hair. And I know there are blogs where I can see photos, but everyone usually gets different items in their boxes)

Allover bronzer for summer
Hi beauties!!!   I need your help finding a bronzer. Throughout the year, my skintone is light, and I wear UD's Naked Skin in 3.5 (or ED DW in Fresco, NW20, L'Oreal true match C3) for reference. In the summer, I get quite a bit tanner and all my foundations become too light for my skin. I try to mix these shades with darker ones I have, but they still end up being too light to match my body. My face is also lighter than my body because I exfoliate it.   I don't want to buy a darker foundation, as I switch up what foundations I use daily, and I don't want to be limited to 1 foundation. I've been trying different bronzers to lightly use all over my face to warm up my complexion and darken my face a bit to match my body, but I haven't had any luck finding one that is dark enough/looks natural.    I've tried: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil - doesn't seem to have any effect at making my face any darker? I have the regular and not the milk chocolate, but it just doesn't seem to be dark enough or something...  NYC Sunny - way too orange Benefit Hoola - good to contour, not good for allover my face, as it makes me look muddy Nars Laguna - similar to my issue with chocolate soleil, it doesn't seem to do all that much to warm up my face, unless I'm contouring   I've tried a few others from Wet n Wild and Physician's formula and haven't had anything that I've liked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Streamlining face makeup routine- with consideration for acne.
Hellooo Beauty Talk!   I recently posted asking for the best all-in-one foundation so I can streamline the routine. I've been using a drugstore set (Maybelline Fit Me) out of habit and want to step up my game. Andy reccomended NARS and I'm pretty jazzed about its great reviews, but I guess I really can't do JUST foundation. Here's the lowdown:   I'm working on clearing up my acne (yay, being responsible and washing my face every day), so I'd like to keep as few products on my face as possible, while still hiding what blemishes I have until I have better skin. BB's and CC's just don't provide heavy enough coverage as much as I like their multitasking abilities. So, based on rudimentary research and what I know, I'd like to streamline the face to a primer and foundation, and powder if I MUST, though I'd like to avoid it. I'm considering using a Smashbox Primer, either the Photo Finish More Than Primer - Blemish Control, or Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer. Do I need to use a salicylic acid moisturizer if I use the Blemish Control primer? Can I use the Color Correcting primer all over or just red spots?   After this, foundation per earlier post.   Finally, I'm guessing powder is completely optional depending on if I like how my foundation finishes. Right?   If anyone is going through something similar, has multitasking product reccomendations, or advice in general, I could really use it!   XO RedFoxHeidi
