My left eye gets watery from time to time and after about 2 hours I end up with one eye perfect and the other is a mess. My mascara is fine, but my shadow is wrecked from the moisture. I never rub my eye, just gently dab the outer corner (where it's watering) with a tissue or the edge of my finger. In my ideal world there would be a product I can use to spray on my makeup like a sealant (someone, please make my day and tell me such a product exists!) but until then, I'll settle on advice from my favorite fellow beauty junkies!
Saw Temptalia's post a couple of days ago on the Givenchy Fall collection for this year, and it's all so beautiful -- from the packaging to the colors. I mean, look at the burgundy leather encasement for the Le Rouge lipsticks! However, the only one I will probably get is the Blush Memoire De Forme Pop Up Jelly Blush in Rose Extravagant -- am I crazy to want to drop $37 on a blush?! :-\ Yikes... However, I feel that between the color and the packaging, it's something that I can admire for a while...as long as it doesn't dry up at some point. From Make Up 4 All blog From Fashion Trend Seeker
Does anyone have any dupe swatches for the UD honey color? I'm utterly depressed that I haven't found anything that quite comes close to the brassiness it has, as most other colors come up as straight gold (el Dorado) or gold-brown (Baked) without the brightness. Looking to match this with Smog, thus the focus on this being a tonal brightness. All suggestions welcome and thank you! <3
I was on IG earlier & this picture seems to be going around. Anyone picking it up? Is said to be released in October, at 58$ . I'm not sure if I'll pick it up. Maybe if the 3 blushes aren't ones I own... Or there's a LE one. We'll see 😬
I match perfectly with BareMineral Bareskin #3 Linen and Cover FX 30 but when i looked for a pick for baremineral original foundation powder it was Medium Beige here. When I went to the bare mineral site it was Fairly Light. I know my skin is neutral more then yellow from all the past foundations I've tried. I was just wondering if I should purchase the Medium Beige this site picked for me or the Fairly Light picked by BareMinerals site?
They are now available for purchase for rouge members. I didn't know they would come up with 2 different palettes and it took me completely by surprise. my wallet was not prepared for this! I am so weak to my Vices. If you could get only one vice palette this year, which one would you choose?
Recently I received a PM from Sephora thanking me for my participation on BT and offering to send me a free full sized gift. Today I received a full size NUDE Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash. http://www.sephora.com/product/productDetail.jsp?k eyword=nude%20brightening%20fizzy&skuId=1629286&pr ... The back says: This effervescent powder wash brightens skin for a glowing complexion with multiple sources of Vitamin C. Powerful enzymes work together with all-natural rose hip and vanilla seeds for skin-clearing exfoliation, eliminating dull skin and impurities. With omega-rich acai berry, Inca gold and virgin coconut oils, this treatment exfoliator smooths and softens while refining skin. Super pumped to try it tonight!

I'm looking for advice on preventing wrinkles, while not causing more acne. I have oily/combination skin and get acne frequently (3-5 pimples per week), but am starting to develop slight wrinkles on my forehead (I know, there are worse things happening in the world!). I would like to begin treating/preventing wrinkles before they advance, but assume most aging products are for women with dry, mature skin. Can anyone recommend products/regimens for wrinkle prevention on acne-prone skin? Thank you in advance
Zadidoll just posted this find from Urban Decay's website and I have to say I'm smitten. $39 and not yet for sale on their website, but I'm sure it will be available soon. Assuming it will also be available on Sephora at some point? The set contains six deluxe minis with three new shades, Ladyflower (bright rose-pink), Crush and Illicit (sheer baby pink) and three bestsellers Gash, Liar and F-Bomb. Also included is a full-size 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Ozone. What do you think?
I have really oily skin. It got worse when I moved from East Coast to California and it may be that California weather is so dry. I wake up in the morning my face is oil. I wash it and 1 hr later, my face is oil. I stopped using the oil sheets b/c i heard it can produce more. I have a ton of acne & scars at the moment. I'm deciding whether to start Accutane. If anyone has any opinions on it, please let me know. I am still learning what works best for my skin, but i really want to give up. I feel that I'm not doing something correctly and maybe Accutane can fix it? I have used neutrogena oil-free sensitive skin moisturizer before and it worked. The combination skin one made my face really oily. I use Murad skin perfecting lotion. It makes it feel non-greasy. This is my regimen right now. Please help me correct what I've been doing wrong: 1)cleanser: (dermatologist's personal brand contains 2% glycolic & 2% salicylic acid) & cetaphil daily facial cleanser (i heard cetaphil dries out skin...) 2) toner: Lancome clarifying exfoliating toner & BioSpecific rehydration toning water mist 3) apply my prescibed acne topicals 4) moisturizer: murad skin perfecting 5) spf 15 oil free sunscreen make up: -lancome regenergie lift makeup foundation - MAC mineralize skin finish natural (I use a sponge to apply. how often should i change it?) I want to try the gel moisturizers though. Any recommendations? Also I want to try the Shiseido Pureness balancing softener. I heard it will allow the moisturizer to go more deeply into the skin? Please advise me. Thank you Also I might be moving back to the east coast, will my skin be affected by the weather so what if everything changes?
I've seen quite a few sunscreens specially formulated for the eye area and I'm a bit confused by it. During the day I presently use the MD SolarScience Mineral Creme SPF 50 and go around the eye area (of course not right up too close) and at night I apply my moisturizer to keep the area hydrated. Do I really need an entirely separate eye spf?
I keep going back and forth between buying another UD palette (like Vice 3) or trying Too Faced Pretty Rebel or Boudoir Eyes. I have a UD palette but no TF yet. Not sure - which brand do you prefer for eyeshadows?
Ok. So I discussed the diff. w/ a cpl of BT'ers about this Pressed Skin Perfector vs. the liquid. I have went back and forth and decided on this formula. However, with the suggestions in the last Post I am unsure of the correct color. I would think that either Opal or Moonstone would be perfect for me. I just don't know which one I should go with. I have never seen these in person ( & can't just run over to my Sephora & try it out, way too far). I have light to med. Skin w/ neutral undertones. I would like to be able to use this easily and however I would like. What do you suggest for me to seal the deal? Thanks in advance
I love seeing other peoples empties! So I decided to make a board where people could post pictures of their empties, or just tell us about them! I'd also be interested in knowing whether you're repurchasing anything or not.
This hasn't been started yet so I'll give it a go. Today is the last day that SiJCP has an extra 25% off clearance so I stopped in to poke around before I start up the smoker for tonight. I grabbed all these goodies for $30.
Today I came home and was super excited to have 8 Sephora boxes to open up even though most were gifts for my family and friends. I had purchased a few of the Ocos Locos 2, Feminine Palettes, Philosophy make up removers , etc from the recent sale First of all, I noticed that instead of receiving the Sephora gift bag like I requested, all 8 orders were in big gift boxes. Then, after opening all of my packages, I was missing 10 samples in total. All of the ones that I was supposed to get the Kate Sommerville exfloiant were missing. I know that they are allowed to substitute samples, which they did for some, but I was still missing 10 ! To make matters worse, I was missing 2 of the Clinique Smart serums that I was supposed to get for using the SMART promo code. I'm not impressed at all with the warehouse! Can someone please tell me what is going on with the warehouses?
I'm sure most of you are obsessed with Kylie's lip just like I am. I have been trying to get the Mac Whirl for the longest time, but it is sold out everywhere. I can have pre-ordered to arrive around October 15th but that is just too far for me. I am looking for a lip liner that is sold by any Brand in Sephora that is just as similar. I've been using Mac's Dervish, but I feel it's too pinkish for me.
