The Armani Eye & Brow Maestro Creams are supposed to be total game changers, which can be used as eyeshadows, brow color, and even hair color (hair color - seriously?). There are 9 shades (described as iridescent), they are (apparently) waterproof and they (apparently) last 20 hours. I have to say I'm intrigued. What do you all think?
I am just now getting into wearing false lashes, even bought a lot of them recently. I love how they make my eyes look with that POP! Now here is the problem, I have been using Bimatoprost since May and my lashes are long, but not the Latisse long. I use the lashes to enhance more, but the glue(s) I use do work but some how burn my eyes a little...I don't know if its my allergies which isn;t too bad but the burning feel is not pleasant. I used Duo with vit A,C D Revlon's supplied glue that came with lashes..Eyelure now could it be because of the lash serum that could be affecting and causing the semi-burning feeling. No my eyes don;t turn red at all. Just that annoying feeling. thanks..any recommendations/advice is extremely welcomed. I love my lashes and don;t want to part with them...
Hi there - I'm a huge consumer of mascara and eyeliner. I used to have a great face wash that could handle the chore of removing my eye makeup as well as clean my face, but it was discontinued. I want one product - a face wash - that can do the trick. I don't want to use eye makeup remover after I wash my face. Any thoughts?
They are now available for purchase for rouge members. I didn't know they would come up with 2 different palettes and it took me completely by surprise. my wallet was not prepared for this! I am so weak to my Vices. If you could get only one vice palette this year, which one would you choose?
Zadidoll just posted this find from Urban Decay's website and I have to say I'm smitten. $39 and not yet for sale on their website, but I'm sure it will be available soon. Assuming it will also be available on Sephora at some point? The set contains six deluxe minis with three new shades, Ladyflower (bright rose-pink), Crush and Illicit (sheer baby pink) and three bestsellers Gash, Liar and F-Bomb. Also included is a full-size 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Ozone. What do you think?
Hello Everyone! I was recently going through my lippy stash to clear out any old or used up items and this I was left with. Please feel free to share your current lip stash and help brighten everyone's day with some pretty pictures Thanks!
I've been on the Ipsy waiting list, but still look at the thread. I thought we could have a shared thread from all the subscription boxes (including non-beauty ones likes underpants and lifestyle such as Wantable and POPSugar). That way we can live vicariously through each others goodies! (I know there are unboxing videos on YouTube, but I do not have the patience to sit through a five minute video about someone apologizing for the state of their hair. And I know there are blogs where I can see photos, but everyone usually gets different items in their boxes)
Winter is almost here and I definitely need to switch to a foundation with a dewier finish. Last winter I used Japonesque Luminous and it was fine...not as dewy as I would have liked. So, do you have a fave? Tell me about it! It doesn't matter if it can't be found at Sephora and cost is not a big concern. I need to get to a Dior counter to get a sample of Star. But I've read that it may be more matte than I'd like.
I have battled severe acne for many years and I finally have it under control. However now I have hyper-pigmentation and some pretty deep acne scars. I have used Dr Brandt's exfoliator and it has been a miracle worker for the hyper-pigmentation, however I'm in search of a product or products that can help with the scarring. I also have a lot of overall redness, especially around the eyes. I guess just looking for something to help take care of the scarring and overall brightening. Anything suggestions are helpful!
My love for Sephora continues. I was sent a comped, brand new, full sized Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Medi-Spa Peel (launching 08-26-14) to review. I will use it for the first time tonight, so check back to this post if the product interests you.
Hi Ladies and Gents, So I have heard all of the hype surrounding the new formulation of the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and now I'm intrigued. My question is how does it compare to the old formula? I have tried the old formula and I HATED it. It was extremely drying on my oily skin and the closest color match was entirely too red. What's your opinion on the new versus the old formula?
This hasn't been started yet so I'll give it a go. Today is the last day that SiJCP has an extra 25% off clearance so I stopped in to poke around before I start up the smoker for tonight. I grabbed all these goodies for $30.
Does anyone know where I can trade in my old flat iron and curling iron? I know Folica does it for flat irons and hair dryers but I don't really want to buy from them and I want to trade in a curling iron but they don't do curling irons.
In search of a setting power that doesn't not wash you out. I am currently using dermablend white setting powder and it's great because it leaves skin matte, however I notice that in pictures my face looks really pale and washed out. Any recommendations??
What makeup is everyone wearing today? Today I am wearing: 1. Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation in Champagne 2. Benefit Coralista blush 3. TheBalm Mary-Loumanizer 4. Dior Creme de Rose Lipbalm 5. Dior Addict Lipstick in 454 6. Benefit Creaseless Cream shadow in RSVP and under all this I am wearing Neutrogena Pure and Free Liquid Sunblock SPF 50 So c'mon now...confess!
Hi all =) I tried finding previous topic on this but unable to so any link to previous post or if you have answer will be greatly appreciated ^__^ My face is really dry right now so I started to wear moisturizer and/or oil under my primer. I tried several combination with different result: - moisturizer (caudalie lip and eye and ole henriksen truth creme/ origin day ginzing), smahbox primer, bb cream, then smashbox powder. I find using thosse moisturizer makes my face darker than it was before, resulting in my neck being much lighter than my face (so no good =I) - tarte oil, smahbox primer, bb cream, then smashbox powder. Using this, my face so much streak it's not even funny.Applying powder makes it better but I spend so much time trying to get my bb cream to blend from the ugly streaks =( With winter coming, I know there will be time to use moisturizer under makeup. Do you guys have any recommendation for moisturizer that won't change the color of my makeup? I'm pretty happy with my makeup routine right now but any recommendation for anything that should be change would be appreciated. Thanks =)
I've seen quite a few sunscreens specially formulated for the eye area and I'm a bit confused by it. During the day I presently use the MD SolarScience Mineral Creme SPF 50 and go around the eye area (of course not right up too close) and at night I apply my moisturizer to keep the area hydrated. Do I really need an entirely separate eye spf?
My boyfriend has an oily nose and the skin under his eyes is getting a little bit damage with dark circles and fine lines, even dryness. He is turning 50 and very concern about looking nice. What could you recommend? ...please help!
Don't clean off that swatch hand just yet! I love seeing product swatches, so I thought it would be fun if we shared pictures of our swatch hands. No need to remember everything you swatch, but it would be great if you let us know which product swatch impressed you the most and one that disappointed you.
Okay, since this is a Sephora board, I'm sticking with the popular brands of make-up that are sold at Sephora. What words, terms, concepts do you associate with the following brands? It doesn't matter if your associations are logical, rational or completely batsh!t crazy - what do YOU think of when you think of the following brands? I'll do mine in a separate post to keep things clean for copy/paste purposes. Anastasia Beverly Hills - Bare Minerals - BECCA - Benefit - BITE - Bobbi Brown - Buxom - Clinique - Cover FX - Dior - Estee Lauder - Givenchy - Guerlain - Hourglass - Kat Von D - Lancome - Laura Mercier - MAKE UP FOR EVER - Marc Jacobs - NARS - Smashbox - Stila - Tarte - Too Faced - Urban Decay - YSL - I think I got almost all of the common ones talked about on this board... but if you don't have any thoughts on any of them, feel free to leave them blank or ? or whatever... it's just for fun to see how people view things differently! Also it's Friday and this is definitely a fun time-killer and a version of a Friday Questions!
I've been trying out the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque. I love how well it conceals my (very) dark circles, but it needs setting with a powder, otherwise it just never dries and smudges off throughout the day. I never set my makeup with powders, and don't really want to introduce another step into my routine just for a corrector. Are there any concealers out there that have that pink tone that act like correctors? I usually use the Nars creamy concealer in Vanilla, but I find that it just highlights my undereye area. Does that mean I should just change my concealer colour to a darker pink one?
Does anyone have any tips for applying the KVD foundation? I finally broke down and bought a beauty blender. When I did the bouncing or stippling it seemed to just cause the foundation to cake. I love this foundation but I swear it is so moody sometimes when applying. Any tips?
