Aftermath of acrylics
I recently took my acrylics off so my nails are pretty damaged, and weak. They'll start finally growing but literally split because they're just so weak. Any suggestions on how to helps my nails regain their strength and be healthy again?

Help - completely desperate for help
I love, love, love, love to spend hours and hours online going through makeup sites, pininterest pins, makeup artists instagram and everything else I can find.  It's my personal pet peeve when people either crop off the artists' name, or crop the photo so that you can't begin to question the color, brand or otherwise.  I spent three solid months typing in every possible google term I could think of to find ONE - one tiny little eyeshadow look.  There were exactly two pictures of this look anywhere on the web - two, one of which was cropped.  I am...stuck again.  I have two photos that I'm stuck on...and have been for about a month and a half.  The first one is by Nars, honestly, I've never purchased Nars before (why I don't know) but I want - desperately want - the color they use. I've went to every cosmetic store I could think of that sold Nars to see if I could match it up - but I can't.  I've tried getting lipstick swatches but different skin colors, filters, flash or no flash make none of these any easier to find.  I'm looking for whatever color this very first Nars purchase...if I can find it.  I have about five or six different swatches that "sort of" look like this but not exactly.   The second question I have is probably not for this forum...but this is the first forum I found that I thought could help me.  I've seen this "watermark" before - but I can't for the life of me remember the MUA it was.  I am in love with the look and, I like to see what they used exactly rather than stumble around stores blindly hoping to get colors that are similar - right until I get them home and try them on...then, I realize I was really, really far off in my choices.  I was hoping someone might be able to tell me who this designer is, or...well, if someone could tell me perfect dupes (not necessarily cheap cosmetics) - just something that would produce this look. Thank you in advance for ANY help you can provide me with.  I'm not on the computer every single day, so if it takes a couple of day to throw myself at your feet and thank you with my wholehearted, undying, very sincere gratitude, please don't think that I'm being rude - just not around all the time.  However, I do thank you for any help you can give me and for taking the time to read this email.  THANK YOU!!!   Many hugs and best wishes, Jaeden

How often do you wear lipstick, and how long does it take you to finish a tube of lipstick?
Hey Everyone! I'm curious as to:   - How often everyone else wears lipstick? - Whether it's usually nudes (because of work, or preference?), or any color as you please - And generally how long does it take you to get through a full tube of lipstick?   Despite my [admittedly overwhelming] collection of lipstick, I find that I don't wear lipstick as often as I like (I should probably start the 30-day Lipstick Challenge, shouldn't I? ), mostly because I get a little nervous that bright lipsticks (my weakness) aren't well suited for my work environment. Outside of work, I love slapping on a deep red or berry shade, but alas there aren't as many weekends as I'd like there to be.   I can't think of a single lipstick I've finished before I've felt compelled to toss out (not even my minis! for shame!), though I'm somewhat close to finishing up a tube of MAC's Russian Red. That being said, I've made a significant dent in my hoarder's stash of lip balms (hello, unreasonably dry and frigid winter).   How about you guys??

The only thing I love more than shopping is getting a great deal.  I've created a website, with the same name as this thread (minus spaces and the exclamation point), to share my passion with more people.  If you share here and want to keep the deal exclusive to BT viewers, just write for BT only in the post.   I will heart every deal I see .  If your deal does not have a heart from me, I have not seen it yet.  A heart with no comment means I already had your deal on my site or am not planning on listing it (I may already have a better offer or another possible reason).   Should I use your deal, I will thank you here and mention that it was "shared on BT" on my site.  Thanks again to everyone who shares!    If you find something full priced that is new and awesome, share it here. -Summer-2015-Found-in-the-Wild-quot-New-quot/m-p/1 ...

Would you try snail enzyme?
For a while now, snail enzyme has been very popular as a skincare ingredient in Korea, Japan and France. As a note: the snail secretions is collected from snail cultered in labs and purified before being added to skincare products.   So, the enzyme has been tested and known to fight acne by speeding up cell regeneration. Heal blemishes and removes redness. Awesome with hydration and boosts collagen and elastin production. Sounds like a miracle!   I read about this on a beauty blog and got really interested. I'm considering eye creams. I just need to finish what I have before buying something new. So, would you consider trying?

Confessions of a shopaholic...
So today while at the dentist office with my hubby, I saw on the news about the priest David who is accepting confessions on snapchat while I am no where near that point of desperation to contact said priest... I figured I'd dish out my dirty little secret here to the BT world...   Every once in a while maybe twice a year I get this uncontrollable urge to spend, its like I'm a crack addict and I need to score some good deals... This week long binge started when I was sick for a few days and I started doing some "online browsing"... which soon turned into "Ooppps now I'm shopping". Now mind you I am very frugal (except when it comes to makeup) I even have my budget made through the end of 2015, and I am usually pretty good at staying within my set limits... but when I get this itch to spend I can't control it!!! Now don't rush to conclusions and think I am putting myself in debt or anything, I would never spend more than I have.... And luckily my husband doesn't mind when I treat my self because it doesn't happen often (if it happened more than 2x a year he'd definitely rethink his "cheaper to keep her" mentality)   So here I am at what I believe to be the end of this week long binge of online shopping, and feeling somewhat hung over, definitely not any buyers remorse, but not as much excitement as I had when I was shopping (maybe because none of my boxes have yet been delivered by drug dealer UPS- and yes I have been faithfully tracking my shipments)...  I'm desperately awaiting all my shipments and I hope to receive them before I go on my cruise on the 14th!!!   So what better way to end my confession than to share the items I acquired on my week long binge... I honestly think I was pretty frugal buying some used items rather than paying retail for some... I also used ebates or shopathome, promo codes and some gift cards when applicable... I also bought a membership to ilovethisdiet and purchased some new meal prep containers on amazon... since I plan to start eating better once I get back from the cruise and tbh I probably gained 5 lbs on my week long binge...   Amazon- the lights and stuff is for a vanity mirror project I will be working on will post pics when complete Ebay   Sephora       Ulta Mac   Macys   Exchange   Tradesy

A Review: Belif True Cream Aqua and Moisturizing Bomb comparison etc
With the harsh wind and negative degree weather, I've been fighting to make sure my face doesn't shrivel up and flake off. Sephora, or rather, BeautyTalk seems to have read my mind and sent me two moisturizers from the new line Belif that Sephora now carries for me to dissect, play with and use. Spoiler (Highlight to read) While I'm familiar with most popular Korean skincare brands like Amore Pacific, Innisfree, Etude House, Nature Republic...... I have never heard of Belif until now. A google/youtube/random Korean forum search turned up mostly press-release/promotional articles with only a handful of reviews. Some poking at their brand website/social media told me their online presence started in 2010 and they started becoming popular/getting award ~2012, so it's a relatively new brand (eventho the herbal practice and fancy blah blah are based on 150yr old practice from Europe). But anyways, onto the product review!   The moisturizers come in a thick and sturdy plastic jar. The packaging have a clean and natural feel to it. I think it's cute how the cap looks like dandy black hats, but more relevantly, THANKYOU for printing the expiration date on the bottom of the jar instead of me having to go hunt for it. NOTE: Dates for most Asian products are printed as day/month/year, or in this case May 20th, 2017.   Belif The True Cream - Moisturizing Bomb Description in image above, ingredients list in image below. Upon opening up the inner lid, a pretty strong spicy scent hit my nose......ginger with a hint of radish? However, the scent lessens as you apply it onto your face and mostly goes away after 10-20 minutes. It is a white medium/heavy weight cream that feels pretty luxe on the skin. It spreads easily, but takes a while to sink in and for the greasy feeling to disappear. I applied what I thought was a normal amount but it took an hour to sink in completely, so I guess you don't need a lot. Comparison : The thickness reminds me of Ole Henriksen Truth creme but this feels creamier, slightly greasy, while OH feels a bit more silicone-y. This is lighter than Murad Hydrodynamic moisturizer and L'occitane Shea. Skin type : great for dry skin, also appropriate for combination/normal skin but apply sparingly. It didn't irritate even near lashline or on sensitive/just healed skin (due to scar/pimple) so I'd say it should be safe for sensitive skin, unless you are sensitive to alcohol, dimethicone or plant extracts.   Belif The True Cream - Aqua Bomb Description in back of packaging image above, ingredients list in image below. Upon opening the inner lid, there is a strong fresh, juicy scent with a hint of spicy. The scent is milder, and fresher/cleaner, than Moisturizing Bomb and goes away quite easily. It is a medium weight gel cream that spreads easily and sinks in well. There's no sensation but that of water and the skin drinking it in. It feels weightless on the skin with no residue after a few minutes but the skin stay hydrated. Comparison : It is a bit thicker than other gel moisturizers I like to use in the summer (Bliss Oxygen+C, Clinique yellow gel, Clinique Moisture surge gel cream), takes a bit longer to sink in, and feels a bit more hydrating. It reminds me of Philosophy Take a Deep Breathe, but I think this feels nicer on the skin (and Philosophy TDB's got micro shimmer in it, what?) Skin Type: best for combination/normal skin. It probably also works for dry skin in the summer or oily skin in the winter. If your skin is truly very oily, I recommend try something lighter than this.   Overall impression . I like them! You know how sometimes the moisturizer feels oil-based, water/gel-based or silicone-based? both moisturizers do contain silicone but I can't feel them. Sometimes I also have the problem where the moisturizer end up flaking/peeling off or rolling into little balls on my skin, but even when I applied these two moisturizers generously, there is no flaking. The only thing I can nitpick about these two moisturizers is that they take awhile to sink in, but they leave the skin soft and hydrated. I like them and would recommend them to everyone for winter, but I would not recommend them for summer unless you've got dry skin, or at least remember to apply sparingly.

Q. Best BB Creams?
Trying to switch from using ELDW to a BB cream. I feel that ELDW is way too heavy for everyday use and looks too noticeable and dry for winter. Here are my must-haves in a BB cream:   - Long-lasting (most important-- after coming from ELDW which lasts all day, I cannot downgrade to something that will last for an hour or two and/or requires touching up!) -Light-medium coverage (also important. i will use concealer for any extra blemishes that need covering, but I don't want to feel like I'm applying a clear liquid to my face) -Does not oxidize -Dewy finish  -Natural looking!!! especially in day light!   xx thanks for the help in advance

Everyday Makeup for Deep Complexion?
Hey guys!! I just wanted to know a good everyday blush color, 'flesh-toned' eye shadow, and nude lip color for my complexion. I love bright, colorful makeup, but I'm a student and I wanted something a bit more toned down for everyday wear.   If we go by MAC shades, I'm NC 44-45 (a bit on the lighter side now that it's winter). I have gold/yellow undertones that look sort of 'blegh' now that I've gotten lighter (seriously, it looks like jaundice. Not cute). I'm sort of new to wearing blush, so I'm definitely a little shy in that area. I just want it to show up on my face without overwhelming it (if that makes ANY sense, whatsoever....)   Any and all help would be deeply appreciated!!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick
Hey Ladies!   I am looking into Urban Decay's Revolution Lipstick but cannot decide on a shade! I've looked at multiple swatches on different blogs and (Sephora) discussion boards, but cannot settle on any one shade.   I have pretty light, neutral skin tone (I recently was color matched to 3Y03 or Urban Decay's Foundation in 2.0).   Recently, I have been attracted to bright pinks and corals, but am looking to venture out. I haven't gotten the nerve to try reds permanently just yet as I have not found a sample of a red that looks good on me. So I'm thinking somewhere in the mauve/plum range, but not too dark...   Does anyone have any suggestions or favorites that they swear by? And possibly suggest a matching lip liner by Urban Decay as well.   Thank you ladies!

what products would you recommend for a "dewy" finish to the face. Right now, my face looks dry --especially at the end of the day.

What is the best way to go about making my own lotion?
I have dry eczema ridden skin and so far my search for a natural lotion is futile. So I found a great natural lotion but it's pricey. So I'm venturing into the world of making my own. The lotions ingredients I want in my lotion could be expensive too. So I'm wondering what is the best way to go about making my own lotion with close to the same ingredients? Where do I even buy these oils that won't cost an arm and a leg? The lotion I'm hoping to copy is called Josh Rosebrook's Nutrient Day Cream. I listed the ingredients below: Certified organic aloe juice; certified organic shea butter; organic oils of: evening primrose, hemp seed, jojoba, borage, almond, grapeseed, sesame and sea buckthorn; uncoated non-nano zinc oxide; certified organic lecithin; organic herbal infusions of: calendula flowers, bilberry, chamomile, burdock root, rosemary, fennel seed, dandelion, rose hips, catnip, chickweed, neem leaf, skullcap, ginkgo leaf, linden flowers, hawthorn berry, green tea, flaxseed, nettles, sage, marshmallow root, cayenne, ginseng, peppermint, St. John’s Wort and alfalfa; certified organic vitamin E Oil; wild-crafted candelilla wax; certified organic guar gum and gum arabic; plant sourced xanthan gum & potassium sorbate; organic benzoin tree resin. Help!
