Ladies,how do you handle copycats?! Copycats who ask for your opinion be it makeup,clothes,anything you like or want and just post it online to make it as their Own?Ive had it with these kind of people! i have a "friend" who would always ask the brands i like,or the price for the things i acquire and the next thing i know she had a photo on facebook wearing the same item i got! even her husband does that too with my hubby.how annoying is that?!  Im too old to post about this but i just dont know how to handle them anymore.they brag about their stuff, and they are annoying as anyone ive ever known.they even STALK us online!!! (Why,hello there!) they're so obnoxious and i couldnt take it anymore!  Even the stuff we have at home they would ask us where we bought it and how much its priced. Seriously, they dont know anything about good manners. I dont ever ask someone how much her things are worth,its too personal for me. And having someone as a friend who copies and disrespects u is just so irritating!

I've been watching the news lately and am so saddened by what has happened in Oklahoma.     It made me think about "what if I lost everything" (material wise)?  One aspect of  what i would miss would be my makeup collection. I know it seems super superficial but I would miss it.     Is there any way that Sephora could send items to the residents of Newcastle &  Moore, Oklahoma who were devastated by the tornado? Shampoo, conditioner, soap, body stuff, makeup?  I know it is the least of people's concerns right now and maybe it would be better to do at a later date?     I just read a post about people who have a ton of extra Bath & Body Works items (and I know I have a ton of untouched items too)... I wonder if there is someway we could send items to these people?   I know that the BT community isnt a place to share super weighty topics but this has been on my heart today.

I am pregnant and cannot (and don't want to) use tanning beds this summer...I know I will get sun though, and even with sunscreen I will end up getting a tan line. I saw a thread a while back on here about counting your makeup products.  It was amazing to see those numbers!  While I was reorganzing and going through my makeup since I have moved on to Sephora, and since some things expired and I learned that the hard way lol, I got the silly idea to take a picture of it lol. So if you're bored or just reorganizing your stash, feel free to take a picture and post it!   My collection is in the little league range at the moment lol   This is my stash after I went through stuff.  I don't use my Victoria's Secret kit much anymore since I discovered Sephora, but I still do use the blushes in it and the lip products when I'm at home for the day.  The main two palettes I've been using are from Urban Decay and Kat Von D, and I love both!       Here's my stash back to organization on my spinny organizer my granny gave me for Christmas.  It works well for the moment, but there's no way I can fit my polishes in it lol.  

Is smashbox cc cream okay to use on acne-prone skin? I know it is color correcting and intended to help with post-acne marks but I wasn't sure if it would cause breakouts.

OK, here's a fun one! I did a search but didn't see a similar thread within the top 10 pages- if there's one, my apologies!   We all have those great "gone but not forgotten" products- whether it was discontinued, replaced, or Sephora just stopped carrying the line.  What are your Sephora favorites of yesteryear that you'd love to be able to buy in-store again?   I'll have to think about something a bit older, but I'm bummed that I didn't discover Tarina Tarantino before the brand was on its way out! Her eyeliners and eyeshadow palettes are among my favorites.

Has anyone had experience with getting rid of or diminishing appearance of indented acne scars. The pocks aren't huge, but they exist and I would rather have a cream or gel some sort of application until winter when I have time to get some sort of laser treatment done. Let me know if you've heard of a good one or have tried one that works.   On a related note, I also have lingering acne and am looking to try a new product. The scars are currently my priority, though.

Hey guys and gals! As some of you know I am a Caribbean girl and for the first time ever I will be participating in Carnival!! So I already am confident with the makeup I need EXCEPT for foundation (concealer options will be welcome as well). You see I will be playing mas (wearing a costume and dancing) and I need some ideas on a foundation that will last all day in the SUN, humidity, possible rain, the occasional swipe of a towel AND of course, SWEAT. It does not have to have SPF in it as I will be taking care of that with my skin-care. I have normal/oily skin and I wear MAC NW43 or Make Up Forever HD #175. For the record, I am looking at the Cinema Secrets Palettes so it does not have to be from Sephora. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Has anyone tried the beautyblender pro yet? I was wondering about the difference between the pink and the black ones. i wanted the pink ones but im more intrigued with the pro even more. Though the price difference is the same at beauty.com. hope beautyblender would come out with a pack of three in white black and pink though! I'm looking for a good new show to get into.   I always have my classic gilmore girls. I seriously watch it every single day and I've seen every episode like 6 times but it is my favorite show ever. It has just always been my favorite show.   Some of my favorites are.. So, it's time to go on an extended no buy. I have more than I could ever enjoy for quite awhile.  However, if you have gotten to know me a bit- it's going to be easier said than done!   So, this thread is hopefully going to be a support group for me- and anyone else who wants to join me in a summer of no buy.   The tricky thing is that I've got about 40% of my toner left and maybe 20% of my daytime moisturizer- and I see pan on my HG concealer.  I have to buy the concealer since it's a staple product (and I have used up all of the other concealers that match my skin). I'd like to use up some skincare before repurchasing my daytime moisturizer- but if my skin reacts, I'll revisit the issue.   When will the no buy end?  I'm not sure, but fall collections will be on counters, if not on the leaves!

Hi Sephora I just wanted to thank you for changing your packaging for online orders to bubblewrap envelopes. This is way less wasteful (and still recyclable) and it fit in my mailbox, which means I didn't have to pick it up from post office!!!

  Everyone who uses tinted moisturizers as opposed or in conjunction with anything has probably noticed that if you have dry, or acne prone, or flaky skin that the tinted moisturizer hides the flakes instead of highlighting them with color. It also helps nurture your skin and keep it balanced. Sometimes I feel the more I use the healthier my skin is and that is what some of them claim to do! My favorite right now and maybe for all of time is Nars Tinted Moisturizer in Finland. Its sooo amazing! Ofcourse concealer sticks help too but when I'm in a hurry this stuff sith a little of the MUFE Pro Finish Powder in 117. Does me perfect for the summer. I LOVE TINTED MOISTURIZERS!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!

Can anyone recommend an SPF powder like PTR's for light, oily/combo, acne prone skin? I wanted to purchase PTR's but it's not available to order online in Canada and my local Sephora doesn't carry it.

Since a few of us are on a "no-buy" it might be a good idea to "shop our stashes" again and encourage eachother to behave!    Today I dug out my Too Faced "Fun in the Dark" palette for eyeshadow and blush and then also used two new swap items NARS lipstick "Tzigane" and UD shadow pencil "Rehab".

Hi, I am looking for recommendations for a fragrance-free anti-aging moisturizer for my Mom. She is 71 and has never used a moisturizer because she had oily skin when she was younger and thought a moisturizer would make it worse! I am a loyal Elemis Marine Cream fan but I think the light fragrance would be too much for her. She has super sensitive skin so any moisturizer would have to be absolutely 100% without any scent or irritants. If I can get her to use one product, I will be thrilled. Any suggestions please?

I went into the sephora store today and I was looking for a good brand for nightly facial regime (already have a cleanser, just a moisturizer or night cream and a serum or eye cream that work nicely together) hopefully something brightening but doesn't have to be, i have mostly normal skin, with a dime sized dry patch by my chin. Also im in my teens and am already developing slight lines and anti aging would be great ( or preventative) and also a moisturizer with spf that can go under my bare minerals without making the color different (primer does this to me) Any response helps! thanks!!

lately my skin has been awful i have noticed large pores and oily skin just on my nose and dry skin on the rest of my face. i have a good face scrub and i moisturize but this doesn't seem to help does anyone have any advice or products i can use

Share any recent used up and trashed products here!   Mine is a box of biore nose strips---the box of 6. I've had it for awhile....sometimes I use them religiously every week and go through them like mad and sometimes they go untouched for months.
