Hi Everyone! Here are some photos of Lip Lab Limited Release shade 006, which will be available tomorrow on Sephora.com at 12pm e.s.t. We've called this one Mango Daiquiri - it's a tangy coral/rose. Let us know if you have any questions about the shade! XO BITE
Hi guys - so I was recently perusing shoppers drug mart here in Canada and I came across an exfoliating foot mask called feettreat PEDI by look beauty. Apparently they're little socks with a bunch of exfoliates/acids that you wear on your feet for 60-90minutes and then for the next two weeks your feet shed of calluses and dry skin and you end up with baby soft feet. I, of course, couldn't resist the urge to try it! I had it on last night and waiting to see the miraculous shedding process over the next few days. Have any of you tried a product like this before? Good/bad results? I know there are many other brands that do this sort of thing and my understanding is "Baby Feet" is the original Asian brand that came up with the concept. For those interested, here's a link to the product that I purchased: http://look-beauty.com/exfoliating.html Results: The process was taking too long for my liking but my feet did stat to peel slightly around day 8/9 but my feet were feeling really dry. I wasn't willing to go another week waiting so I expedited the process by using a pumice stone to get all the dead skin off and then a nice foot scrub with lots of lotions. My feet feel greeeeattt!!! A bit tender as I may have been a bit rough with the stone but very soft and a good chunk of my calluses are gone.

The only thing I love more than shopping is getting a great deal. I've created a website with the same name as this thread. If you share here and want to keep the deal exclusive to BT readers, just write for BT only in the post. I will heart every deal I see without an outside link . If your deal does not have a heart from me, I have not seen it yet. A heart with no comment means I already had your deal on my site or decided not to list it. Should I use your deal, I will thank you here. Thanks again to everyone who shares! If you find something full priced that is new and awesome, share it here. http://community.sephora.com/t5/Sephora-com/Spring -Summer-2015-Found-in-the-Wild-quot-New-quot/m-p/1 ...
Isn't it time she had her own dedicated post? I would like to create a place solely to discuss KVDs new releases and all other things regarding her brand. I love KVD...whose with me? trying new products can be...overwhelming. do you love a product because it works ? can you tell right away if it's performing the way you want it to ? sometimes i'm so happy to finally try something and let my enthusiasm blind my actual impression of it (at least at first ) it takes time to come to proper conclusions ! particularly when it comes to skincare, but makeup too. so here's a thread where we can discuss our experiences while trying a product for a first time. it can also be a place that people can reference if they're considering a new product. right now i'm trying a sample of the REN v-cense night cream. i've only used it for 2 nights so far, but i LOVE IT. i love it so much i'm tempted to go ahead and grab it up, but i need to make sure it doesn't break me out over time (it contains shea butter which *can* be a breakout trigger for me, but not necessarily). it smells of frankincense which i adore, but i know for some people would be a turn off. i'm also checking out the VICHY aqualia thermal serum. i really love the CAUDALIE vinosource s.o.s. thirst quenching serum, and prefer the texture of it to the VICHY, but think the caudalie may break me out slightly (i also was probably overusing it...i was very enthusiastic). so i'm just trying to figure out which i prefer. how about you ? __________ post trial edit about the products above: i had to skip on the REN because the shea butter in it was too heavy for my skin. and i suppose buying something simply for the smell isn't the best use of my moola the VICHY aqualia thermal serum, however, is in my permanent arsenal. i've already repurchased once since starting this thread, and have turned a few people on to it too !
That's right. I'm 25 yrs old and all I've ever used on my face is Dove Bar soap. No moisturizer, eye creams, exfoliaters, etc. I'm pretty confused on what products to use and what order to use these products. Do i use: cleanser, face mask, toner, moisturizer? How often do I use a facial scrub? I have large pores on my nose, how do i fix that? I do have my eye on a few things that I want to try out from the website. Some more specifics about my skin 1. I have a oily t zone and eye lids. Rest of my face is normal. 2. Some acne scars on my fore head. Just a few small spots. 3. Faint crows feet 4. I'm having a minor breakout right now on my fore head and a little bit on my temples. It's a little bit red, but skin toned bumps? (I'm African American) Thank you!
Sephora is my favorite store and website of course, but if I could make just one improvement, they would carry Nyx products! My Nyx products are the only cosmetics I do not buy from Sephora, I really wish I could. With that being said, what are your favorite Nyx Products? I have the PhotoFinish Primer and about 9 of the Soft Matte Lip Creams. I also have about 6 lip pencils, which I think are just as good as the MAC lip liners. It feels good to be able to buy about 5-6 Nyx lip liners for the price you could buy just one MAC lip liner for. What products do you recommend from Nyx? And do you consider any of these products "dupes?"
Was asked to post an updated thread. Let's continue the fun shall we? What are you wearing today? 1. nars sheer glow foundation, mont blanc 2. perricone md no bronzer bronzer 3. urban decay eyeshadow primer potion, original 4. too faced chocolate bar palette 5. benefit theyre real mascara 6. rimmel london stay matte powder, natural 7. benefit dallas 8. nars blush, sin 9. buxom full on lipstick, las vegas
Does anyone else have this problem? No matter who waxes my eye brows, my skin scabs. And I mean pretty much every time. And it's not because the wax is too hot. It's not. I've even had people try to prep my skin beforehand. Nope. Still scabs. So I have to get threaded or plucked. I thread because I really love the way it looks (painful though!). Am I the weirdo here? 'Cause I feel like I'm the weirdo.

Lately I have been going over my purchases and I noticed a tiny trend - I am obsessed with some things more than others. So what are your 5 things/products that you are obsessed with lately (it could be anything - from food to clothing to makeup, etc)? Mine are: - Skin care (Algenist, face masks, and serums) - Purses (bought 4 purses in one year, and continuing to look .. smh) - Starbucks (holiday drinks) - NARS creamy concealer - Bite Beauty
I need help finding a new face cleansing product. I have been using Bliss Clog Dissolving Cleansing Milk for at least five years and I love it but it doesn't seem to be available at Sephora anymore. Any suggestions? I am in my early forties and my main concerns are acne, oily ski and anti aging. My skin is still prone to breakouts especially if I use the wrong products.
So a few hours ago Trendmood posted on their page a look at the new UD Naked Smoky palette. I haven't seen a picture of what the packaging looks like but I'm guessing it'll be the same design as N2 and N3 in a gunmetal color. This will be released on July 8th on the UD website. Is anyone else interested in this palette? I think I may pick it up to round out my Naked palette collection. Radar, Armor, and Black Market are repromotes from the Vice 1 and 2 palettes. All the other shades are new. They look very similar to current UD shades so hopefully when comparison swatches are released they are significantly different.
I just purchased the Eradikate by Kate Somerville acne treatment and I'm a little bit confused about how to use it. I understand that you don't shake it and dab it on your face with a Q-tip, however; a) is it used like a spot treating mask where you wash it off after 10-15 mins? b) if not, do you put it on before or after moisturizer and how long do you let it sit for? c) if I were to leave it over night (and say it I apply it before moisturizer) would the rest of my face not get really dry from not having put moisturizer on prior? Thank you!
Today as I am looking through the orders that are on the way to me I noticed that I ordered 2 more of the same product. One I have already (GA Brow Maestro-ordered same color, wanted to order a different one). And I placed two different orders for Glamglow Thirstycleanse! What a dumbo! Now both those orders will have to be returned...ugh! I just can't believe I did this considering I was checking and rechecking my orders. And yes...I ordered them all from Sephora! Go ahead laugh and tell me what I already know,...I am indeed an addict and a goofy one at that. I'm blaming it on the weather since I think it's causing more confusion than usual! Ok that and a serious lack of sleep...zzzzzzz (I wish!)
I started this in Greenie's thread, but, people suggested to make a new thread for this, so here we are... So, Spring is finally here. Or... sort of.... ( But, that snow the other day has nothing to do with the bright yellow and pastel green I feel like wearing, right? ) Anyway, I was thinking we could do 30+ day challenge of Spring ( and Summer ) colors, just for fun, and the heck of it. Let's have some fun! If anyone feels like joining me, please do. If you don't want to do the challenge, please feel free to stop by just because, whenever and why ever you feel like to. Let's paint the BT with Spring colors, ladies and gents! Lippie junkies united!!! P.S. It turned out I need to remove what's left of my "wisdom" asap... so.... Image from Temptalia. When I first saw this my visceral reaction was "I'm getting this" but after looking at it for a few minutes I'm thinking I'm going to pass on this because UD just keeps tweaking a few of their colors and putting them in every single palette. Looking at you half-baked. At this point, I think I'd rather get the Smashbox double exposure palette than another iteration of a Naked palette. I'm wondering if anyone else is as disenfranchised with the Naked palettes as I am? I skipped #3 and all the basics, and I think I'm skipping this one, too.
Urban Decay is coming out with a Smokey Palette slated to hit the market July 8th. Unlike the other palettes this one will have a range of colors to create every smokey eye you want. Here's the link to the story so are you going to buy or no? https://www.yahoo.com/beauty/cue-the-frenzy-theres -a-new-naked-palette-120529402888.html Sorry I didn't see that this was posted in acne. Is that the default catergory??
Two weeks ago I pumped out the last few drops of my foundation and I never knew the fortnight ahead would be so troublesome #firstworldproblems I am a 2Y07 according to color IQ but since I contour using warmer colors, I prefer to buy 2Y06 or lighter The bottle I emptied was MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation Color 127 Dark Sand - for medium skin with yellow undertones (and that is neither the match for 2Y07 nor 2Y06). It was making me a little too yellow and oily (now that summer is back in the Carolinas). So I decided to go shop for a new foundation - but without success! Searching my foundation online I start with: My skin type is oily. I am 29 years old. Got post acne scars - so need medium to full coverage. Ingredients: OIL-FREE for sure I walked into Sephora and told the beauty advisor the above pre-requisites. She put on Hourglass Illusion® Hyaluronic Skin Tint Color Sand - medium with pink undertones (which looked medium coverage in store - probably because of amount and tools she used, she did not apply primer or setting powder). I was very happy with the dewy look but next day used it and found it to be too sheer for me. Walk into another Sephora: she said Hourglass Veil Fluid Makeup Oil Free Broad Spectrum SPF 15 No. 1 - Ivory ( SkinTone match for # 2Y06) will be very white for me AND Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation Mattifying Oil Free will be very mattifying and will not give the dewy/radiant look We tried Smashbox Liquid Halo HD Foundation SPF 15 ( Color 2 - warm vanilla for fair/light complexions ) on one half of my face AND NARS Sheer Glow Foundation Color Vallauris - medium with pink undertones on another. The color for NARS matched my skin tone perfectly and I walked out happy but once hope I realized it doesn't have a pump and isn't as medium/full a coverage as I want. I have ordered Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15 Color Beige but I wanted to ask all you beautiful women for your expert advice. If Bobbi Brown's coverage/color doesn't work out I will go back to MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation Color 118 Flesh - for light skin with beige undertones. (also, if you suggest a color, please note I use NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Color Custard - yellow tone for light to medium complexion for triangle of light - so I want my foundation lighter than 2Y07 but darker than custard/nars concealer). Thank you for your time, Aaks
So as most of ya'll know I live in Louisiana. Where mother nature has been on a tear as of late. Over the weekend the creek that my house backs up to finally went over its banks. Which left one place to go. My house. Thanks to great friends, great insurance, and great thinking, most of my stuff managed to escape the worst of the damage. But alot of my makeup didn't. My foils and minis are ruined for the most part. Alot of my full size was in a higher place, but not all. So at this point I am going to have to start rebuying. I have tended ( as ya'll can tell from my posts and reviews ) stick to the same stuff. Everything that I have used has been my HG. But maybe i need to step outside of my box. Try new things. So i turn to my fellow BTers who always have great product recs for the girls that are just now starting out with makeup. So i wanted to get some new ideas from ya'll of new things to try. Just across the board. I generally stuck to MAC foundation, overcurl Dior mascara, Naked eye shadow, 24/7 and stila eye liners, orgasam blush, the porefessional primer, and tarte setting powder. I figure i may try and turn a negative into something positive. At least in this small way!
